What a year it’s been! We‘re thrilled to reclaim our title as the Australian Professional Ballroom Champions! 💃🕺🏆

This win is more meaningful with Alan becoming a dad this year. It’s certainly been a challenge juggling training, fatherhood and teaching on a lack of sleep 😅

Big thanks to the ADS for hosting such an amazing event that brings dancers from all over the nation and world together to showcase their hard work.

Our success wouldn‘t be possible without our incredible support system — our teachers, sponsors, students, and cherished family and friends.

Matt Rooke, you’re an unbelievable coach and friend. You constantly challenge us to be better and always allow us to stay true to how we dance, thank you for everything 🙏

Shoutout to NY, DanceFever and RDJ for making us look and feel like champions with Alan‘s impeccable @nyfashion_au suits, our comfy and durable @dance_fever_aus shoes and Emily’s custom designed @radiantdesignsjewellery. Thanks for having us as your ambassadors!

Throwback to the KRMS Dance Camp in the lead up to the 2022 Australian DanceSport Championships.

The purpose of this exercise was to select a group of choreography that was lacking substance and artistry and highlight each moment to the music whether it be through changes of speed, energy, volume etc...

Being totally present is the key and what a wonderful feeling it is when you're able to fully immerse yourself and with your partner in the present! by @alantentser
