Febrero 2026 was for blooming 🌸🌻🌷🌼🪻🌺🌷🌸

A month of reflecting, celebrated the bestest humans, gave my love where it was welcomed, but mostly understood that I want to be the best version of myself in every way, this little life of mine I’m gonna live it to the fullest and I hope I get to share it with all the people that make my life magical when I’m around them✨🐝✨

Import. Cull. Edit. Deliver.

On repeat, all year long.

And usually, by the time I clear the queue from the year before, a new wedding season is already here. I’m right back in it: importing… culling… editing… delivering.

But there’s one part that always gets pushed aside.

Reflecting.

It’s the piece I tell myself I’ll get to in the “off-season,” when life slows down enough for me to sit with the work and sift through my favorite frames.

But that off-season rarely feels like rest. It gets filled with house projects, taxes, admin, archiving film, and everything that piled up while I was in the thick of it.
So at the end of 2025, I built a small workflow to help me slow down and make room for what matters most: time with the photos I love.

Because yes, this is my job, and photos are my deliverable. But I’d be doing this even if I never got paid.

So instead of sending these lovely little birds into your inbox and moving on to the next batch, I’m going to sit with them for a while.

Reflect on the care and intentionality behind them. And hopefully fill this space more often with the ones that bring me the most joy. taken in St. Petersburg, FL by @alba.jess

An open letter to Jess and Jaison’s people -

You guys really struck the friendship lottery with these two. Every friend group needs that person they can get a hug from whenever one’s needed. Or maybe a house with an open door that feels like a safe place when the world feels out of control. Maybe it’s just an ear that listens and a heart that genuinely cares.

If you could bottle up the warmth of the sun and imbue it into a couple, it would be Jess and Jaison. And for all these reasons and more, consider myself jealous that you have an ally like this in your life. It’s rare.

As someone on the outside who had a just a single day to drop in and spend time with you, thank you for letting be one of the pack, I felt like an old friend from the very first minute. From the deep talks to the lolz, each of you are some of the best humanity has and the light you all reflect toward each other isn’t something often seen.

Some people find their people. Jess and Jaison found theirs twice over, once in each other, and once in all of you.
