For a long time, I was scared to post a picture of myself.

It’s crazy how life—and sometimes the words of others—can get into your head and change the way you see yourself. Hurtful things stick with you longer than they should, and for a while, I let them.

But as I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized something: peace is worth more than proving anyone wrong.

I look at my life today and I’m genuinely happy. Happy with who I am, happy with the life I’m building, and incredibly grateful for my family.

I may not be rich in the monetary sense, but when I look at my husband and my kids, I realize I’m richer than I ever imagined I could be. ❤️

So here’s a picture of me. No hiding. No overthinking. Just me—grateful, growing, and finally learning to see myself through my own eyes instead of someone else’s. ❤️ by @alba_bella

So Lucas turned 6 months on the 9th- We decided to baptize him to be part of the church, although he fell sleep through the Baptism. We couldn’t have asked for a better day! Thank you @hunny.ham and @dana.constance for being the God Parents, Lucas is very lucky. With all the love in the world God sees you as one of his own. Lucas Gabriel Stacey 💎 and on this special day my brother asked his girlfriend to be his wife ❤️ by @alba_bella
