POSTS STORIES REELS

Bit late in the day but was trying to look for some good videos for stories to say happy birthday and I literally can’t just pick one or two so I made a reel of probably all your most embarrassing moments and I laughed a lot whilst making it 🤣
Happy birthday Albaaaaa I love youuu!! ❤️❤️❤️ by @albadogani

Some shots I took on film from Namibia and Mozambique.

Three months in Africa - Morocco, South Africa, Namibia, and Mozambique - what a trip! I have been dreaming of going to Africa since I was little, and I’m so so happy the opportunity came up and that I actually took it.

I’ll forever remember this trip, the people I shared it with, and all the adventures we had. Camping, hiking, surfing, studying, dancing, driving, safaris, braais. And of course, it wouldn’t have been the same without all the amazing people along the way. Bex - the best adventure buddy!! Being stranded in the Namibian desert with an exploded tire wouldn’t have been nearly as fun without you 🧡

These pictures are also some of the only pictures I got from Mozambique, but it would have been impossible to capture the friendliness of the people and the beauty of the nature anyways. And the 13 hour bustrip in a chappa, or the 10 hour taxi drive home with my bank cards eaten by the ATM. I’ll still be dreaming of the baby glittering waves of my favorite surf so far 🤍 and I know I always say it, but I WILL be back.

📍Spitzkoppe, Namibia

Truly one of the most spectacular places I’ve ever been to. I couldn’t stop obsessing over this rock, I mean, have you ever seen a more photogenic rock?? We spent three days here and got to experience sunsets and sunrises from all around the park, which I highly recommend if you’re going- one day is simply not enough. Sunrise, breakfast, hike, lunch at the cafe to study/work, sunset and Braai. On repeat. Got to see some cool rock paintings of the different animals that used to live here, that were painted as a warning to others. And all the cute little dassies!! This place rocks 🪨 by @albadogani

Namibia part 4: SANDWICH HARBOUR

We decided to splurge and take a tour to Sandwich Harbour, since it’s very beautiful and you’re not actually allowed to drive yourself here. Funnily enough though, our guide decided he hated us (because we were 5 minutes early which was late in his German eyes) so it was an awkward 6 hours where me and Bex couldn’t stop laughing because how awkward it was. But as you can see the views were easily worth it. by @albadogani

Took a little break from all the driving and stopped in this cute surf/fishing town Swakopmund. Spent a few days working and stayed at a hostel and met some great people, had lots of Braai, surfed my first left ever, camped in insane spots with insane stars. by @albadogani

Namibia part two - playing in the dunes 😍🏜️ we arrived at Sossusvlei and woke up super early to hike the dunes at sunrise. The hike up was easy, until you get to the top and realize it’s sand so you can just accidentally slide down to your death. But had a cosy sunrise with Becca. Then we drove on to discover the rest of the park and had to stop every few minutes because the views were too incredible. Usually you can take your car onto a 4x4 track to see Deadvlei, but the roads were entirely flooded and even the shuttles had stopped going so we decided we didn’t want to get stuck in the mud for hours and just went on a little hike around and still saw some very cool dead trees 🪾

Went back to camp- which we had arrived late for due to the long drive, so the lady was kind enough to give us a spot next to a trash can in the overflow parking 🤣 it stormed all night which was pretty cool to see in the desert since it had not had rain in seven years! 10/10 would come back by @albadogani

For those who don’t know, me and @rebeccalones decided to rent this 4x4 truck and go camping in Namibia for three weeks!! And it was incredible and so much fun. And holy cow there are so many pictures and moments from this trip I want to remember forever, so I’ve decided to split it up into three parts.

Namibia part one: Picked up the truck, drove straight to Quiver Tree Forest (those cool looking trees) and had our first camp, then looooots of driving through flooded muddy roads where everyone was getting stuck (including us but someone helped us get out). Fish River canyon which was even more majestic than Grand Canyon in my opinion, sunsets with interesting encounters with a little bit too tipsy people, drives that took 3x the amount Google Maps said, wild horses, an EXPLODED tire, some friendly Namibians who helped us and then we got to repay the favor to a Namibian family, long driving day on hot gravel road with no idea where we were gonna sleep, and finally found a great campsite where we got to see lightning and crazy stars. And this was only the first three days 🙈🤸🏽 by @albadogani

Cape Town- been on the bucket list for forever, and it truly delivered! Obsessed with the closeness to nature, mountains, surf and beaches just there. At the same time so many great restaurants, bars, winery’s, nightlife: truly top city I’ve ever visited. Even though I was there for a month it didn’t feel like nearly enough time. Of course there were some big drawbacks too- the history of South Africa is still very very present, and it can be quite upsetting to see.

But I still think it is so worth the visit and can’t wait to go back to explore more of South Africa one day. by @albadogani
