I thought I had already done this.

I grew up Catholic. I loved God. I believed in Him. And because I was baptized as a baby, I told myself that was enough.

But faith isn’t about checking a box. It’s about surrender.

I didn’t just get baptized.
I chose obedience.

I grew up loving God.
I thought I had already done this.

But this time, I chose it.
Not out of tradition. Not out of pressure.
Out of conviction.

For years I’ve been walking with Christ, learning Him, unlearning religiosity, and allowing Him to transform my heart. And this time… I chose it. Fully aware. Fully surrendered. Fully His!

Getting baptized wasn’t about denying my past — it was about sealing my present.

And what makes this even more special is that I didn’t do it alone. God placed the right people in my life at the right time. Godly friends who are serious about their walk. People who pray. People who challenge me. People who were there on one of the most important days of my life!

If you’re in the process of choosing Jesus — take your time, but don’t let fear or tradition hold you back from obedience!

When it’s real, you’ll know. And when it’s time, you’ll feel the peace!

Today, I publicly declare what my heart has known for years:

Some of us are so used to carrying everything quietly that resting almost feels wrong!

Matthew 11:28
“Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

Not pressure.
Not pretending.
Rest. 🍃🌱

So this is your reminder that slowing down doesn’t make you weak, and taking care of yourself doesn’t make you selfish!

Lately, God has been teaching me a lot about obedience, people-pleasing, fear, and what it really means to follow Him wholeheartedly!
