Here’s another seek peek into my comic for Savage Seed issue 2! These are the color pages of pg 3 and pg 4. Plenty of goofy action here with emphasis on cheese! The cheesier the better. So in other words I like to things fun and energetic with a focus on character. Please click the link in my bio to support our kickstarter! It’s a great project.

Well it seems my Creature hopped out of that retention pond and right into the HOA! He’s clearly great with the kids though! The kids on the other hand may be having different thoughts about that. Trick or Treat! Do you smell fish?!

It’s the Gill Man! He’s the next monster or “creature” on my list! Can you believe how fast this month is going?! These were drawn recently, ink on Bristol with a dash of photoshop for color😂

He’s a casual Gill Man. Chilling on Halloween night in his favorite boxers and an empty pumpkin bucket, not to mention those furry slippers. What do you think the Gill Man gives out to trick or treaters? Let me know what you think in the comments, of course I already have my theory. I’ll be sure to share that real soon🎃😉🐟

Shop smart at the Mummy Mart for Clea Soft. It’s comfort fit for a queen! I’ve been watching so many mummy movies and doodling too many mummy doodles. This is the result of all the mummy mess. Looks like the mummies made a mess at the mummy mart themselves. For now I think I’m done with dudes wrapped in mummy paper. Might have to try the Gill Man next.

Here’s another look into the inked pages I’ve created for @calebprochnow and The Savage Seed Issue 2 comic book. Like I stated prior I love seeing the process behind a project. As you can see I had a lot of fun working on this!
More pages to come, next time in color!

Process is such a huge part of any art project. Honestly rough sketches and inks are some of my favorite aspects of anything illustrative. These are the first two pages of my back up story to Savage Seed issue 2. When it comes to my artwork for this project the inked state is my favorite look. Personally I like a lot of negative space in a piece. Said space can create a sense of shape and design. When I started this project I knew I wanted to utilize a lot ink usage and positive and negative shape.
If you can please follow the link in my bio to support @calebprochnow and his vision. I’m excited to be a part of it and you can too. As you know art is labor, one of love. Clearly he and I love what we’re doing! Thank you so much for any of your support in any way.

Here’s a little sneak peek into my 10 page companion comic I created for @calebprochnow and his Savage Seed issue 2 comic book. We needed something to introduce my story so I decided to recreate his cover for the book. As you scroll you’ll find the first page of my story. Things start quiet for our hero but he has a sense that he’s being watched! Stay tuned for more and please if you can follow the link in my bio to support this Kickstarter!

Mummies! All wrapped up, cute bundles of joy just waiting to be set free to wreak havoc upon the world! This maybe a clue, I think a mummy illustration is coming to torment my page. Keep your eyes peeled folks! Oh and what’s your favorite mummy movie? Let me know if the comments!

October is finally here so let all the spooky art run free! Plus it’s #kidlitpostcard day! I’m available for work and would love to work on children’s editorial projects. Also I’m currently seeking representation.

A quick doodle this morning, Nemesis. This marks the final entry of fanart Friday for this month. He may be from the third game and my focus has been on RE2 but I had to give him a go! A whole month of Resident Evil doodles each Friday has come to a close. I’ve included the ink sketch to celebrate the coming Inktober season!
Initially I was going to continue fan art Friday into October but I decided I wanted to focus on all the things that make the month so great! Ya know Jack o Lanterns, mummies, vampire bats, candy corn, and Frankenstein’s monster. Also I wanted to create more complete full color illustrations. So expect a lot of Halloweenie doodles and hopefully some more complete pieces.

It’s officially fall every body and I know I’m a little late to the fall party. So here’s another look into what I sketch, “Sir Jack”. Jack here was created several years ago thanks to the Inktober craze, which I still love! He’s more of an autumn character than a Halloween one and it’s been fun expanding his realm through little comics and illustrations.
Although Sir Jack isn’t making a full comeback this year I can’t help but to want to create doodles of him from time to time. Perhaps next year?? This year life is jammed packed so I’m not quite sure what kind of challenge I’ll be up to with drawing. Since it’s October soon, I’m sure I’ll make time for something 🎃
