The @albertafoodfinder Canmore self-guided tour has a little bit of everything: trivia, fun facts, food samples, and will help you see and learn about parts of downtown Canmore that you probably haven’t discovered yet! We found an awesome new patio we had never been to, discovered a liquor store with many cool local brands and even learned there’s a temperature clock right in the middle of town. Who knew? 🤷🏻‍♀️🏔️ There’s tons of other fun things you’ll learn, but I won’t give it all away.

The @albertafoodfinder tour is offered through @albertafoodtours, is about $50 and covers up to a group of 4. You’ll get food samples from 5 different locations and discounts at a dozen other local businesses in Canmore - super great value for everything you learn and receive out of one self-guided app tour. We can’t walk away from 2024 without reflecting on how it enriched our company, our team, and most importantly, our community. We are so grateful for all the love and support we received and pledge to continue sharing our love of Alberta and its food, food artisans,and spectacular destinations 🥰

In January, we invited our dear friend, chef Kyle Maier of Rocky Mountain flatbread in Canmore, to give our team a cooking lesson in Canmore for our winter retreat. He is so much fun and we had a blast.
__
In February, we celebrated our operations manager, Kim Horton’s, birthday at Sauvage in Canmore. Chef Tracy Little’s menu and presentation blew us away.
__
In late February, Karen took 12 guests on a 14 day culinary trip to Morocco. It was her 2nd time the group was so much fun!
__
Karen guided journalist from Gault et Millau during their time in Alberta, including a visit to HGB Bison ranch.
__
In April, Karen was featured as a Taste Maker in Avenue Magazine
__
May, saw Karen and Kim attend Rendezvous Canada in Edmonton to help market Canada to the world.
__
Both our Alberta Food Finder self-guided food tours in Calgary and Canmore got some fine tuning and continue being enjoyed by DIY travellers.
__
This year, for the first time, we worked with Confluence Historic Site and Park to present an interactive Indigenous experience to some large series tours
__
In September, we launched our new Iconic Eats of Calgary Food Tour
__
In October, Karen and Nicole went to Toronto and received a silver medal for Eat Alberta First at the Taste Canada awards.
__
In November, we launched our First Annual Holiday Brunch and Bakery tour in both Edmonton and Calgary.
__
In December, Karen met up with Santa at the Fairmont Banff Springs. Our incredible guide team hosted over 80 Eat the Castle tours there this year! And, Santa thanked Karen for helping shop local with our Alberta Cares Packages!
__
We hosted thousands of guests on hundreds of public and private tours in Calgary, Banff, Canmore, the Cowboy Trail, and Edmonton and we loved every minute.
