Esp @marvinbienaime bro we did that!🙌🏾💪🏾🙏🏾 never thought I'd be on this but ever so grateful that I am. 👌🏾🙈 I'm sitting in the crib just thankful. But also moved by what happen in Vegas. Like seriously the world needs Peace & Love. Cause there's too much hate out here. Smh. It's heartbreaking. I will continue to pray for the world as I do. It's tatted on me but I live by this because we all have a choice at the end of the day, "Peace not Hate: Love not Pain" #prayingfortheworld #prayforlasvegas don't loose sight on the fact PR, Mexico, TX, even Flint Michigan all are still in need. taken in Essence Magazine by @albertloman

😭🎬 EXCUSE ME, CASTING?!

Now I know good and well my agent didn’t submit me for “UGLY BUS DRIVER.” 💀

Not the handsome bus driver. Not the charming bus driver with a mysterious past. Just UGLY. IN ALL CAPS. 😭

And the worst part? I’m still gonna memorize the lines, find my light, make some strong character choices, and give y’all a PERFORMANCE. 😂

Because at the end of the day, a booking is a booking… but DAMN, what are y’all trying to tell me?! 🚌💀

🎭 ACTORS, BE HONEST: What’s the most disrespectful or oddly specific character description you’ve ever received in an audition breakdown?

Drop it in the comments. I KNOW casting has humbled some of y’all too. 😂👇🏽

Okay @feliciapride … hear me out. 👀

I’m trying to get to #HillmanSeason2 and I might have accidentally figured out how I get there. 😂

Remember Dorian Heywood? Hillman basketball star. Lena James’ old flame. 👀

What if Dorian had two sons? maybe he has one maybe he don’t? But the son is looking for answers on the low.

WAIT… hear me out. 👀

I went down an #ADifferentWorld rabbit hole this morning and accidentally wrote a Season 2 storyline I actually NEED to see. 😂

We know Dorian Heywood was a Hillman basketball star… but WHAT IF HE HAD Another SON?

Not another basketball player.
Not a carbon copy of his father.

Dorian James “D.J.” Heywood Jr. comes to Hillman determined to make a name for himself OUTSIDE of his father’s legacy.

THEN… he finds out he has a brother he never knew existed. 😳

One son grew up with the Heywood name.
The other grew up without it.

One inherited the LEGACY.
The other inherited the TALENT.

And now they’re both at Hillman trying to figure out what it actually means to be a Heywood.

Tell me that wouldn’t give us some 🔥🔥🔥 storylines.

@FeliciaPride… I’m just saying… 👀😂

Felicia, Debbie… I’m just saying. 😂 @therealdebbieallen @rockthefilm @gpbmadeit

Maybe Season 2 doesn’t need another legacy character.

Maybe it needs the next chapter of one.

And if Dorian Heywood has a son we didn’t know about…

I volunteer as tribute. 😂🎬

Y’all tell me: Would you watch Dorian Heywood Jr. walk into Hillman? Or be curious to Malcoms angle? And what do YOU think his story should be?

#ADifferentWorld #ADifferentWorldNetflix #season2 HillmanCollege

So if you’re asking:

“Could fans look at Jalen and say, ‘That’s basically the Dorian archetype?’”

Yes. Basketball + Hillman prominence + attractive upperclassman = some obvious overlap.

But there’s a major distinction:

Jalen isn’t Dorian’s son.

But there’s another Heywood.

Enter:

Malcolm “Mal” Heywood

Same father.

Different mother.

And D.J. didn’t know he existed.

Malcolm grew up completely outside of the Heywood family.

No Hillman connections.

No famous father.

No expectations.

And when he discovers who his father is?

He doesn’t see D.J. as his brother.

He sees him a taken in Hillman College by @albertloman

I’ve been sitting on an idea… 👀

For years, y’all have watched pieces of my journey — acting, working behind the camera, creating content, cooking, disappearing, rebuilding, booking, and figuring this industry out in real time.

So for Spring 2027, I’m thinking about finally putting ALL of it under one roof.

🎬 My acting reel + scenes from projects I’ve booked
🎞️ The journey from my first Hollywood set to now
🍽️ Cooking With Allo
📚 Digital cookbooks + recipe videos
📸 Some chapters of this career most of y’all have never seen

But before I put months of work and money into building it…

Would y’all actually visit this?

And more importantly:

What would make YOU click first — the acting reels 🎬 or the cookbooks/recipes 🍽️?

I genuinely want to know.

A. 🎬 ACTING
B. 🍽️ COOKING
C. 👀 BOTH — I wanna see the whole journey

Spring 2027? TBD.

Maybe I’ll build it if y’all make enough noise. 😏

🎬 TBT: THE TAPES | EPISODE 04
Another Audition. Another No. But Never a Wasted Performance.

Let’s talk about the REALITY of self-taping. 😂🎭

You can have your lines memorized, your character choices locked in, and be delivering what feels like one of your STRONGEST takes…

Then, out of NOWHERE, the dog starts making noises, something starts whistling in the background, and suddenly your audition has a whole supporting cast you never hired. 😭🐶

But here’s the thing about being an actor: THE SCENE DOESN’T STOP JUST BECAUSE LIFE GETS LOUD.

You have to stay present. Stay connected. Stay IN CHARACTER.

And sometimes, those distractions become the ultimate test of your focus.

This particular audition didn’t land me the role, but revisiting it reminded me of something: A booking doesn’t determine whether the performance was good.

Now, watching this character back, I can’t help but imagine him walking onto the campus of Hillman College in Season 2 of A Different World. 👀🔥

The personality. The attitude. The ENERGY!

SO LET ME ASK Y’ALL SOMETHING…

🎭 Who does this character remind you of?

🎬 What kind of role would you cast him in?

👀 And could you see him stirring up some trouble at Hillman?

TAG the actor, character, or casting director who comes to mind! I genuinely want to hear your comparisons. 😂👇🏽

Another audition. Another lesson. Another opportunity to sharpen the craft.

Because the audition may end, but the actor keeps growing.

• “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”(Isaiah‬ ‭43:19‬ ‭NIV‬‬) With this promise, remember that God will never take something away from you without the intention of replacing it with something much better! So whatever didn’t work out for you as you planned, is God’s way of saying I’ve got something much better.

SUPER EXCITED to announce I’ll be Co-Staring in AMAZONs “A House Divided” on @watchumc as the Role of Keno!

Backstory: I was literally feeling down about life that day @magengraysmua called me while I was stuffing my face with pizza, anybody else eat their emotions?! 😩🤣(because I battle with issues within on my exact purpose) making sure I am doing Gods Will at all times. I can’t always see the vision as clear as I do on other days, but God has a funny way of clearing out the fog because not more than 2hrs later after I shook that weight of self doubt.
I received that call asking me to come to set.
I’m thinking I am just there to ya know, meet the cast on some casual stuff as I’ve done on sets before. But little did I know I’d be auditioning for the role of “Keno” and Booking the job right on the spot. I’m here at my graveyard shift full of gratitude, extremely grateful. Shooketh! •

NEW Movie ALERT! Being my IG account has been shadow banned and I don’t have any clue on how to fix it! I will continue to promote! Seems as tho my numbers have dropped drastically (except for when I post half naked images) then my numbers are thru the roof. But when it comes to the craft of what I love I get close to zero exposure on my analytics. It’s just not fair! It won’t stop me tho! Thanks to those who have reached out, to those who have reposted in support.
