🥔 AND WE’RE BACK… at the world-famous Baked Potato! 🥔

Friday, October 23rd, come hang with Luis Conte & Superbién as we pay homage to the Golden Age of Cuban music — the era when the music was hot, the rhythms were hotter, and sitting still was basically not an option. 😎🔥

We’ll be serving up Son, Mambo, Cha Cha Cha, Descarga, Guaracha and everything in between. In other words… bring your dancing shoes, your good vibes, and maybe a chiropractor. 😂💃🏽🕺🏽

🎟️ Get your tickets early! These shows tend to sell out faster than a Media Noche at midnight.

It’s always a pleasure to see familiar faces, make new friends, and share some seriously good music with all of you.

Come celebrate, dance, listen, laugh — and let’s make some noise at the Potato! 🥔🎶🔥 taken in The Baked Potato 3787 Cahuenga, Studio City, CA 91604 by @albertosalas68

On September 13, 2000, I had the distinct pleasure of appearing with both Santana and Maná at the 1st Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards. Almost exactly one year later, I was excited and honored to participate once again in the 2nd Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards, this time with Los Super Seven as a nominee.

That day was September 11, 2001.

Upon awakening that morning, I checked my messages and had several people telling me to turn on my television. Needless to say, once I saw what had happened—and what was still happening—everything else in my life suddenly seemed insignificant.

That day not only changed my life; it changed our entire world.

There are many who will never forget what happened that day. Sadly, there are also those who have forgotten, or even rejoice in the tragedy. But as for me, my heart remains with every innocent victim and with all of the families and loved ones whose lives were forever changed—those on the ground and those in the air.

Today, 25 years later, we are reminded once again of the unimaginable pain and the empty spaces that remain in so many lives. We have also witnessed the darkness and the heartbreaking indifference that still exists in our world.

But I, for one, will continue to remember and honor the innocent lives that were lost.

Your lights are still shining brightly. They continue to touch us, inspire us, and remind us of the preciousness of life. May we never stop remembering. May we never stop honoring. And may we never forget.

I WILL NEVER FORGET. 🙏🏼🕊️ by @albertosalas68

My dear friend and colleague, Harry Kim, ascended to eternal peace last night, leaving behind a legacy of joy, laughter and excellence. Always radiating warmth, always ready to share a joke, and a most gifted trumpet player, his absence will be deeply felt. Here's a glimpse of him at his last birthday celebration, where his indomitable spirit and smile shone bright despite his illness. Let us envelop his son Kris, family, friends, and fans worldwide in our prayers. Harry, your love and God given talent will forever inspire us. Until we meet again, may your memory be a blessing to all. 🙏🏼❤️ by @albertosalas68
