13 hours on a plane with a 2-year-old… and we made it! ✈️😅

I packed a bag of toys to keep my little guy busy during our flight, and he ended up playing with almost all of them!

The best part? We kept using them throughout our trip. He played with them in every apartment we stayed in, so they were definitely worth the space in our luggage.

After almost 10 years as a stay-at-home mom, raising three kids, taking care of our home, and spending the last two years with a little one — I’ve noticed something about myself.

I’m always thinking about what needs to be done next.

The house, the kids, their schedules, activities… there’s always something to plan, clean, organize or remember.

I do make time for myself. I work out, see my friends, get out of the house and it really helps.

But lately, I’ve realized I want to feel lighter in my everyday life, too.

I don’t want unfinished chores or a never-ending to-do list to affect my mood so much. I want to enjoy my day even when everything isn’t done.

I’m still figuring out how to do that.

Maybe this season of my life is about learning to take care of everything I love… without feeling like I have to carry it all at once. 🤍 #momlifeunfiltered #sahmlifestyle

I spent $120 on lamb, chicken thighs, and beef stew meat and made 15 pounds of homemade ground meat, about $8 per pound.

As a mom, it’s important to me to know exactly what kind of meat I’m feeding my kids and to choose every ingredient myself.
