okay, can I start off by saying this should be at the Louvre because I finally can say I have an Accidental Renassaince photograph with Ethel Cain aka Hayden Anhedonia aka @mothercain aka my favorite artist? I’ve been so thankful for everything that I feel like crying just thinking about it. Thankful for the friends I made in line, thankful for the beautiful altar cloth @hagclub made and I was able to give Hayden on N1, thankful that I had another spiritual and amazing experience listening to Hayden’s voice live again and finally: thankful that she held my hand so tightly during American Teenager that I’ll forever feel the grasp. a song that people say it’s mainstream but honestly always meant so much for me and the path I’ve been going through ever since my dad lost his battle to cancer. There is something so intimate about holding hands with someone you admire so much, even for a few seconds; something so deeply special. I lowkey freaked out when it happened and didn’t know what to do because I never thought it’d happen with me so I don’t remember if I properly did eye contact because my brain was scrambled eggs but I’LL ALWAYS REMEBER the sensation of holding her hand (mine were so cold, sorry Hayden!) and that grasp where I felt extremely thankful for everything that I’ve been living FOR ME (quoting American Teenager). I could write about those days for AGES here but all I can say is that I’m grateful for @mothercain music, for the artist that took this iconic first picture (you know who you are! I’ll
love you forever) and other’s I’ll still post; thankful for you, Hayden Anhedonia, for holding my hand and making me
feel so alive; and for me, for being brave and going after doing the things that make me happy and everyday finding out more about who I am. thank you @ellissongs ongs @dakotafloeter @matthewtomasi and @bryanrulez for 2 amazing concerts and thank you @mothercain for everything.
