Oh, August! If we could describe it in one word, it would be: Lively.

We opened the month with editorials, fashion, and beauty shoots and learned from clients that access to load in is one of the most appreciated features here at Album.

We also welcomed a group of food, beverage, and commercial photographers who attended the Advanced Creative Lighting & Effects workshop hosted by @rachelkorinek_photography alongside @tiffanysfoodphotography and @whiskfullyso . At this immersive workshop, guests learned lighting techniques, macro photography, post-production, and more! Equipment used was facilitated by our very own @albumequipment during this hands-on workshop.

In between the days, we worked behind the scenes to update our studio website and make it easier to navigate information our clients look for the most: Studio rates, floor plans, and frequently asked logistics. Thank you for the positive feedback so far!!🤗

As we enter the ‘ber’ months and prepare for the subtle drops in temperature, our studio has been seeing holiday shoots and campaigns come to life. There have been visits from you-know-who 🎅 because you know how the saying goes… when you’re a photography and film studio, you’re always living at least 3 months in the future (I actually don’t know if this saying exists but it does now lol).

We wrapped up the last precious days of summer with a Blue Jays game and enjoyed cheering, eating, laughing, and simply… being. We’re looking forward to autumn, but it’s hard to say goodbye to the summer months!
