Heartsong Herbs Restock ✨

Our shelves are stocked with all of your favorites, and look at their beautiful new labels! We love that they kept their rainbow aesthetic 🌈

We are big fans of these herbalist-formulated extracts! @heartsongherbs is a regenerative organic herb farm that grows most of the herbs they make their tinctures from, creating them “from seed to bottle”. We appreciate how you can really feel all the love and intention in their products!

Pick any of these up in the shop Wednesdays-Saturdays 11am-6pm and Sundays 11am-5pm 💛 taken in Alchemy & Herbs by @alchemyandherbs

We are so in love with these cards from Brainmeats Atelier!

We might keep some of these on our rack after Halloween is over (if there are any left)!

This week is the perfect time to send a Halloween card to someone - getting paper mail is so fun! Make someone’s day 👻 or pick up one for yourself and display it like a small print 🎃

Pick up card or a few in person Wednesdays-Saturdays 11am-6pm and Sundays 11am-5pm. DM or call us during regular open hours to see what we have in stock for shipping/pickup/delivery 💛 taken in Alchemy & Herbs by @alchemyandherbs

Compostable Toothbrushes 🌱✨

Plastic toothbrushes create 50 MILLION pounds of waste each year 🫨

These compostable toothbrushes are 100% plant based (USDA certified), and vegan! The handles are made from bamboo and the bristles are made from castor beans.

Did you know? There are currently NO toothbrushes available that are 100% compostable, though some are mistakenly marketed that way. These toothbrushes are the closest available:

Although the bristles are made from plants and are biodegradable, they take longer than a year to decompose, so they can’t be classified as compostable!

Remove the bristles before composting the handle (use pliers, it takes just a minute or two), and either throw the bristles in your trash or in your yard, or first reuse the brush as a cleaning brush, a plant label (bury brush side down and write plant name on the handle), or anything else you can think of.

Pick up a new toothbrush in person Wednesdays-Saturdays 11am-6pm, Sundays 11am-5pm, or online anytime 💛 taken in Alchemy & Herbs by @alchemyandherbs

We’ve been unpacking our herb farm orders recently, like this beautiful lemon balm from Zack Woods!

@zackwoodsherbfarm is an organic herb farm in Vermont 🌱

Most spices and some herbs can’t be grown in our climate, but we work directly with herb farms in the US for as many herbs as we can! taken in Alchemy & Herbs by @alchemyandherbs

✨Samhain tea✨

‘Tis the season 👻 It’s a smoky, magical blend, fitting for the cool, foggy weather common between the autumnal equinox and Halloween.

Made with Lapsang Souchong (smoked black Camellia sinensis / contains caffeine), cinnamon, angelica root, rose petals, and black peppercorns.

This year the rose petals are really popping!

✨ Brooms ✨

They’re back! And they’re a perfect little gift for yourself or someone you love to add some magic to your life. Sweep away stale energy while sweeping away dust and crumbs!

We have altar brooms and hand brooms. The altar brooms are perfect for smaller spaces (like your alters or dressers, or even to clean up around your tea/coffee/spice areas in your kitchen)

The hand brooms are perfect for larger spaces like countertops, bookshelves, or to brush into a dustpan.

They are beautiful, but they’re meant to be used! Using a beautiful object for a mundane task brings magic and intention into even the smallest acts of caring for your space.

Brooms also make great housewarming gifts to physically and symbolically clear the new space!

Come pick out your perfect match in the shop Wednesdays-Saturdays 11am-6pm and Sundays 11am-5pm. Because these are limited in color and design, these are not listed on our website, but we can ship! Just send us a DM or call so we can let you know what colors we have in stock.

These are handmade by @amuckbroomco located in Salem, MA. We are welcoming Kristen in to teach a broom making workshop on October 22nd! Check our pinned stories for details on how you can join us! taken in Alchemy & Herbs by @alchemyandherbs

There’s something special about slowing down with a cup of tea and getting to know the plants that make it possible. 🌿🍵

On Wednesday, we explored tulsi, lemon balm, and chamomile, learning their stories, traditional uses, and unique flavors. We tasted each herb on its own, then experimented with blending them together to discover how their flavors changed and complemented one another.

Each person created a blend to enjoy together and another to take home, carrying a little piece of the evening with them.

Thank you to everyone who joined me for this evening of tasting, learning, and connecting with plants. And thank you to @alchemyandherbs for the herbs! 💚

Next up: Mocktail Workshop 🍋🌿
Thursday, October 15 | 5:30–7:00 PM
