Taking it back to when we unveiled this BEAST at SEMA for Hella Lighting. At the time, this TRX was basically engulfed in every part we could get our hands on. Carbon fiber grille, vents, taillight surrounds and other accents. ADD bumpers and chase rack. Billet rear lower arms, billet front upper arms, fabricated lower arms, King Shocks, sliders, and an Alcon big brake kit up front with our Stage 5 brake setup in the rear. And of course, we couldn’t leave the power alone. AFE intake, headers, pulleys, injectors and a custom AWE exhaust to give the TRX some more attitude. Enkei Wheels and Toyo RT tires to roll on. Then, since it was being unveiled in the Hella Lighting booth at SEMA, we finished the entire build off with Hella lighting. This truck had it all. Looks. Performance. Suspension. Brakes. Power. What a weekend! Huge thanks to ChampCar Endurance Series for hosting a great event at Autobahn Country Club. The member appreciation dinner was excellent! Massive thanks to Logan Eric for the help with the car prep. We turned over 500 laps during the 3 day event and only had to add 0.5 liters of oil, change the rear brake pads, and make some setup adjustments. That's over 1000 miles of flat out driving with zero time behind the wall! Our #sabelt seat was super comfortable for 2hrs straight in the car. The #zeknovatires continue to impress! Super consistent and apparently really good in the rain! Saturday was a good day. We lacked a bit of pace with the high temps due to the setup on the car but still came home with P4 in class and P8 overall. Sunday was much better. We led our class the majority of the race. Our nearest competition got really lucky with a well timed pit stop and with the track beginning to dry, their pace advantage kept growing. Then a late drive through for us ended up costing us P2 as well. Still, a podium in a car that has a large power to weight disadvantage is something to be proud of! And in only our 4th race as a team! Thanks to the boys for bringing the car home nearly free of damage (slammed the door into the pit wall)! Onto Road America in October.. by @alconusa
