Hey! I’m Maeve!! Lots of new faces around this tiny corner of the internet these days, and I figured what better time to re-introduce myself than after taking a few weeks to adjust to my latest job promotion: mom! I’m grateful every single day for all of you - you kids in love, you small (but mighty!) businesses, you cool restaurants and brands that make my job of bringing stories to life just feel like magic. Little tidbits about me: 1. I LOVE noodles - any kind really, but of the Italian or Thai variety if we’re getting specific. Al dente pasta is the muse for my artwork - hand made & perfectly cooked always hit justtt a bit different. 2. My wedding in 2023 was the start of all of this! I couldn’t find anything I loved in templates, etc online, so I dreamt it up myself and have been in love with it ever since! 3. I worked in corporate as a brand manager for almost a decade before going full time here, and I think a lot of that work applies to creating the look & feel of a wedding day. I love applying that knowledge to my work with small businesses and restaurants too! 4. I am a one woman show, but have the best husband and mom who are sometimes involuntary ribbon cutting assistants and somehow never complain. 5. My baby boy (honey bee) was just born this summer! He is everything and navigating being a new mom while running a business is a pretty awesome thing that I get to do! 6. I have a 100lb Saint Bernard mix who is my first born daughter and goofy LOML 7. My favorite type of projects are the ones that start with the most creative mood boards. I love a good creative color pallet, whimsical floral inspo, and “let us tell you about our love story” to spark the visual queues. 8. I recently started liking pickles and am pumped about this new development. 9. I am obsessed with painting & layering patterns - plaids, stripes, floral wallpapers - mixing them has my heart 10. If I could live in the Italian Alp mountain air, I would 100%. But for now, Midwest hospitality it is. Ope! I just love what I do - thanks for being here! by @aldentedesignsco
