A little CQB training during admin time. Just making the most of this nice abandoned building. Perfect layout with plenty of rooms, intersecting hallways and staircase. Basically a ready-made training ground. by @aldricsuan.combat

OP ECLIPSE 🌑

What stood out to me during this milsim wasn’t the number of hits or the KDA. It was getting comfortable moving and fighting as a team.

Most of the CQB simulations we’ve done before were still games at the end of the day. This time, we deliberately tried to slow things down and apply as much of the theory as we could: movement, communication, positioning, clearing, and working together instead of everyone chasing individual kills.

Far from perfect, but that was the point.

Less about winning the firefight. More about learning how to operate as a team.

That’s what made OP ECLIPSE different.

It was an awesome site and special thanks to 6mm and @globalbarangay for organizing this event. by @aldricsuan.combat

24 hours in the jungle.

Heavy rain, flooded trails, bamboo, fire, mud, and learning how much you can actually do with very little.

What started as survival training quickly became a lesson in adapting to whatever the environment gives you. Build with what you find. Keep the fire alive. Stay dry when you can. Keep moving when you can’t.

Somewhere between the storm, the smoke and the long night, you start appreciating how valuable the simplest skills can be.

24 hours in the jungle. 🌧️🌿

We went in expecting survival training. The storm made sure we got the full experience.

If you’re planning something similar, here are a few things worth knowing:

What to expect:
🥾 Trekking with all your gear
🌧️ Rain, mud, humidity, and insects
🔪 Bolo and bamboo work
🔥 Fire making and camp cooking
🎋 Using natural materials around you
🍌 Cooking with bamboo
🌙 A night in the jungle
💧 Managing your water, energy, and equipment

What I’d bring:
• 3 to 4L of water
• Good rain protection
• Headlamp + spare batteries
• Mosquito repellent
• Quick-dry clothes
• One completely dry set for sleeping
• Proper trail footwear
• Gloves
• First-aid kit
• Power bank
• Dry bags or ziplocks for electronics
• A sleeping setup you’ve already tested
• Simple food to prepare

Biggest lessons?

Pack light. Every unnecessary kilogram eventually makes itself known.

Prioritize the basics. Water, footwear, rain protection, lighting, and sleep gear matter more than looking tactical.

Keep one set of clothes completely dry. Trust me, you’ll appreciate it later.

Waterproof your electronics before the rain starts, not when you’re already soaked.

Know how your gear works before you get there.

And expect to be uncomfortable. That’s part of what makes the experience worthwhile.

You don’t need to be a survival expert. Come prepared, respect the environment, listen to your instructors, and be willing to get wet, muddy, and tired.

The storm made this one significantly harder, but also a lot more memorable.

Would you spend 24 hours out here? 🌿

Save this for your next outdoor trip.

Under stress, fatigue, and constant distractions, the participants of CL03-2026 were challenged through water confidence drills designed to test both body and mind. Modified Free Immersion, Underwater Rock Run, Buddy Breathing, Combat Side Stroke, Modified Flutter Kicks, and Treading demanded composure, breath control, adaptability, and focus.

Every drill was designed to push participants beyond their comfort zones, not to see who was the strongest, but to reveal who could remain calm under pressure.

Under the guidance of professional dive instructors, they learned that water confidence is more than breath control. It is the ability to think clearly, control discomfort, and keep moving forward despite stress and distractions. by @aldricsuan.combat

32nd Defense & Sporting Arms Show

Found some good deals and new guns in the event.
We also got to see the Glock Gen 6 which looked pretty good.
The carbines both in 556 and 9mm were the focal point of our visit. We got to see some locally manufactured Rifles and PCC’s which are definitely in our consideration list.

If you haven’t gone to DSAS yet, I strongly urge you to drop by. It’s worth the trip. by @aldricsuan.combat

You’ve probably seen Masungi in photos.

But photos don’t show you what it feels like to stand above a landscape shaped over millions of years.

They don’t show you the silence between the limestone peaks.

The climb.

The height.

The people protecting it.

Or the uncomfortable truth that a place this beautiful can still be at risk.

I went to Masungi expecting an adventure.

I left understanding why it needs to be defended.

This is not just a travel vlog.

It is a story about nature, conservation, and what we could lose if no one chooses to care.

Welcome to Masungi Georeserve. 🌿⛰️
