it’s cold 😫 the morning of first snow fall earlier this week was very unexpected for my island boy body 🩴

as per usual i’m late to every game there ever was & now that i’ve discovered substack is kinda like tumblr & livejournal combined, im lowkey obsessed lol

As artificial intelligence reshapes how images, language, and culture are created, this conversation brings together artists, technologists, and scholars to examine the relationship between AI, creativity, ethics, and cultural memory.

Breath as Resistance is a guided meditation experience to help you tap into your senses, tend to your inner garden, and reconnect with the power of nature that lives within you.

Together we will slowly flow through a brief gentle asana (movement) and pranayama (breathwork) to prepare us for stillness. We’ll practice techniques from Vipassana, Mindfulness, and Compassion Meditation, and we’ll discuss why stillness, breath, and presence are important care for the human spirit.

As systems of oppression and supremacy of the material world try to keep us in a spiral of hopelessness and despair, the way out is in. Slow down and tune in to the expansive world and wisdom within you. Take back your breath.

folks who typically struggle to meditate for 10 minutes will meditate with me for 20-30 minutes and be surprised that it’s already over.

time feels different when u experience in a way that helps u restore & re-member the nature within u, re-member ur Spirit. come see & feel it for yourself.

if u been curious to try meditation or u tried before & couldn’t get into it, this is a good place to start or give it another try.

this feels very vulnerable for me to share. it’s funny [not really] how when ur dreams finally are within reach, they start to terrify the shit outta u. 🥲 but ya boys gotta eat somehow so..here it goes

since my training in 2024 in the philippines with @rgcomon & @bahay.siadtala @luntiangaghama, i have been offering hilot primarily to pamilya & close friends from out of my or others’ home, but i finally have a public space to offer it so i am officially hard launching my hilot services. 🥹

reconnecting with my roots & ancestors in this way has been one of the most special things to me. filipino culture is the greatest gift i’ve ever received in this life, and i love sharing it.

i’m excited to share it in this new way. to support others in finding & activating their own inner healer.

i myself am not anyone else’s healer but i can be a guide, someone to hold u with whatever it is ur holding. not holding it for u but *with* u.

Hilot sessions are open for booking on Sundays from 9am-8pm at @wellwithincollective
