10 NEW #bonewerx Flutters made in the little temporary workspace I set up in my friend's garage. It's been so great having a place to work these past few weeks! I'll be packing up all my bins of tin and putting them back in storage next week. The life of a #mixedmedia artist is cumbersome ~ especially without a home base. I'll be transitioning back to bottle caps for my next big project coming up in January, more on that later . . .

Yesterday, I got a hot tip from a fellow artist on IG alerting me that someone had dumped a massive quantity of old boots out on the sidewalk and hillside in N. Portland. I hightailed it across town with my buddy @heidedavis1 and a handful of large trash bags. It was quite the bounty and was spread out as far as an entire block! It's got to be the same guy I bought the five bucks a pair from a few years ago. Ive pretty much used all the ones I had from that first windfall, and I had been wondering what happened to that guy. I'm not sure what the story is but he must not want to deal with them anymore since he dumped them all out on the side of the road with a giant FREE sign! LUCKY ME! I filled FIVE bags full and could barely cram them all in the car. Thanks for passing on the info and rocking my world @reflectivesociety 😍

Didn't get many pics from Day 2 of the first weekend of Art Tours, but couldn't resist a portrait of these 2 dapper dames with the best scenic backdrop in Yucca! Then a bona fide cowgirl rolled up in this truck and my day was made. She named her Ranch "Dusty Boots" and this is her twist on cowboys playing horse shoes. I couldn't love it more!
