Day 2: We checked in then checked out our room. We were surprised with a floor to ceiling screen with a live feed of the port side of the ship (major game changer IYKYK).
After settling in, we went up to the front of the ship to see if we could snag a good seat for departure.

Later we went to explore and ended up in a trivia show where we met some cool people we’d end up doing most of our excursions with.

At dinner we had more crab cakes 😂😂 and we tried escargot for the first time (we ended up having it every chance we could).

Day 1: Landed in Fort Lauderdale with some time to kill before checking into the hotel. We hit the pier and drove past the port to get a sneak peak of the ship. Checked into our hotel just in time for a quick nap interrupted by a tornado warning😂

After heading to the lobby and waiting for the weather to clear up, we took a walk on the nearly empty hotel beach and watched the rest of the storm roll out to sea.

That night we dressed up and went to dinner and a show at The Wreck Bar. A few too many crab cakes and an amazing underwater mermaid show later, we checked for the millionth time that we still had our birth certificates with us. Catch of the day! I tried to recreate the good ole classic illusion of my fish being a lot bigger than it actually was. (Trying to pad my resume before sending it over to the boys in Gloustah) But my Shaquille O'Neal-esque hands ruined the bit so we took a quick goofie girls selfie and I tossed the wee lass back in. taken in Panguitch Lake, Utah by @aleahplumb
