My Daddy Died.

It took a lot to post this because it’s so vulnerable, but as soon as I heard this song yesterday, I was in tears. This is song sums up almost every emotion and thought that I’ve had in connection to my grief over my father being deceased. My father, Russia, passed away when I was 1. Even though I barely have memories with him, somehow my soul remembers. Women that grow up without their fathers face a lot of challenges. We often have trouble with self esteem, fear of abandonment, difficulty trusting, etc. It takes real work and prayer to deal with these things. There’s a lot of things I wish I could experience. I wish my father was able to be present for the most important and happiest days of my life, I wish he was here to hold and bond with his grandson, I wish I grew up having a protector. All in all, Fathers are important and if you’re celebrating today without yours… hold your head up❤️.
