Closing out the summer with SO!! MUCH!!! POKÉMON!!! 🙂‍↕️

Between all of the merch drops and collabs the past few months, I think what’s most special to me was the opportunity to co-stream the Pokémon World Championships this past weekend! I’ve been a fan of Pokémon since before I can even remember and I’ve been watching Worlds nearly every year since its inception in 2004 and to be a part of this year’s celebration, even in my own small way, means the absolute world to this trainer. Thank you @pokemon for the incredible opportunity 🥹

Apart from that, life has been treating me mostly well! I’m in the process of updating my blue after accidentally (chemically) burning my scalp, and I guess my car got totaled so that’s not quite as fun. I’m not sure how to wrap up this little blurb here. I’ve been trying out a more personal journal style caption for my posts lately. How are YOU doing? Do people read captions this far down?

Anyway, it’s hot out and I can’t wait for winter weather. Something about the cold just brings me a sort of inner peace I can’t quite describe. Alright for real that’s it for now, later skaters 🥳 by @alecandstuff

Summer so far 🙂‍↕️

It’s been a weirdly short-feeling summer, as it has been with the rest of this year so far. As strange as it is, I’ve been getting out more, seeing friends, and eating delicious food. It’s funny how the simplest things like that can make you feel so connected to the feeling of being human. At this point it strikes me as a modern survival instinct. The world is so full of turmoil, AI slop, explosive diarrhea lettuce (can’t believe that’s real), it’s all so nauseating.

It’s times like these where I miss having grandparents, and I often wonder what some of them might say to the things we’re living through now. I suppose that’s just one of the plights of getting older. It’s hard to put everything I’m experiencing into the limits of an Instagram caption, and it reminds me of how Björk once described it as trying to put the ocean through a straw, and to quote Miss Williams on the matter “fuck it, I’m the whole ocean” by @alecandstuff

April duuuump!! 🥳

What a month, what a month! Got to see lots of cats, became a Pokémon Champions Master Trainer, oh and my sister got married this last weekend! Sooo so weird as an older sibling to see her being grown and not 12 anymore, but so happy nonetheless. 2026 is already speeding by it feels like, maybe it’s just my brain but it still feels as though the year just started. Anyway, I’m into manga now! I recently read the Twilight Princess adaptation and was floored over how good it was, and I’ve already started Pokémon Adventures! I see now how people get hooked on this stuff. Anywho, nearly half of 2026 down, one more half to go! 😅 by @alecandstuff

Little bit of life lately :)

It’s been a weird, fun filled, and educational first few months of 2026. I saw the Mario Galaxy Movie a few days ago and loooved it. Been playing (and building) SO much in Pokopia since it came out, I’m already above 200 hours in that game, LMFAOO. I also FINALLY pulled some chase cards I’ve been wanting in TCG Pocket, thanks in part to Pokégold gifted by @pokemon!

I’ve also been learning a bit more about color grading the photos I take (first panel) and excited to experiment more with that in the future, and if any photographer friends have advice for editing on mobile lmk! Yay for learning new things!!!

Thankful for friends as always, both old and new and overall I’m just happy to be living life, which is as much as you could hope for I suppose 💙

What’s everyone else been up to lately? I wanna hear about it 🙂‍↕️ by @alecandstuff

Thankful for good food, friends, and the feeling of being alive…and Pokémon of course. Between my birthday, Pokémon 30, RE Requiem, and even more events coming soon, I’d say it’s been a great start to my 2026 so far 🙂‍↕️ by @alecandstuff
