My sweet baby Frankie, it’s your final night. We found you on a Craigslist ad and you were listed as a German Shepard🤦‍♂️ I’m so glad we were duped because the world brought us you. The last one left of the litter and somehow that was on brand for our family. You’ve been such a good girl and I’m so glad we could give you a beautiful life. Smoke 2026 This time last year when it was announced you guys were being brought to CT I remember being out on my balcony doubting whether I’ve been out of the game too long and wasn’t good enough anymore but wanting to do it so bad. A few years back my cousin passed away and my family has never been the same since, but in the moment while I was debating on whether to do this team it’s almost as if I felt him there saying “you’re only young one time, and time is never promised.” If I can give ya’ll any final advice as a teammate… if it’s something you love, do it till you can’t. You all have been the best teammates and reminded me why cheering is fun. Sometimes you can work so hard and want it so bad, and still mistakes will happen. For the ones coming back for another round I’ll see you next season ready to take it all, and for the ones moving on take it from me. Cheering never has to leave you, not really.
