I spotted this fish, moving slowly, looking lost, beautiful but clearly wounded, likely by a boat propeller. I watched it struggle before making the call to shoot it. It felt like the right choice. To end its suffering and give its life meaning.That evening, we turned it into fresh ceviche, a raw and humbling reminder of how the ocean gives, and how we must protect it and honour it. This reminded how powerful and meaningful spearfishing is. Still, meditative, blending with corals and schools of fish, breathless, literally, analyzing and choosing where to aim and when to pull the trigger. #spearfishing #fish #trevally #fishing by @aleclacroix

I have really sad news for my friends of Koh Phangan. We lost a true warrior of love. Jonathan passed from a motorbike accident on the island earlier this week. He was a guiding force, a peaceful warrior, a fighter for justice. - 🤍Your presence brought peace and joy to everyone you touched, Jonathan.
