Birthday / Housewarming / Midsummer!

Had a great birthday weekend with friends and family! Midsummer celebrations have become an annual tradition and this year we had to postpone our get-together a couple of weeks and I fused it with my birthday, which I typically don't celebrate. And I also kept postponing my housewarming party so let's just say it was that too! Thank you all for being part of it!

Wow, I didn't post in all of 2025, so I figured I'd do something about it. So this is a really tiny photo dump from this relatively uneventful winter.

First season in my first house that I moved into in the fall. I have bettered my physical health quite a bit over the winter, which I'm both proud of and also embarrassed to post, but here it goes 😂 Bear with me! There have been visits from friends, and hikes with family! And a day of playing curling for the first time since I did it consistently as a kid... It went alright!

2026 is filled to the brim with weddings and I'll try to be better about actually posting on here so I don't feel like every post has to be for some momentous occasion. Not that weddings aren't momentous, but you get my drift! If all goes well, maybe I'll try to post something in a couple of weeks after our family mountain trip. by @alecsyr

An amazing week in Málaga has come to an end! So appreciative that this trip came together and that we managed to secure an amazing apartment right in the middle of the historic center! Finishing up this year's super fun course in applied urban agriculture. My allotment went meh, but we still managed to cook a lot of good stuff for the final day of class. Lovely summer trip with lovely classmates and a couple of add-ons! A trip to #Førde and its lovely surroundings! Thanks to @sivhornnes for hosting us there!

Later we drove to #Valdres to my family's little cabin there. Elliot joined us for that part of the trip.
