Nicaragüense exploring my love for all things travel, food, vibes & outside 🌁🥐📚⛷
⛺️: Boulder, CO

POSTS STORIES REELS

Goodbye, Colorado!! It’s been a hell of a 5 years. So many outdoor adventures, friendships, learning, love, skiing, movies, silly learning-how-to-be-a-kid-again moments, and self-discovery! I came here for grad school kinda half-baked and half-formed and, while I’m still figuring it all out and probably always will be, I’m leaving CO with a better sense of self and more knowledge of who I am. Knowledge which I hope will carry me forward into the next adventure and whatever’s yet to be determined.

So grateful for every person these last 5yrs. I definitely didn’t get everyone in these pics but you know who you are and you mean the world 🫶🏼

Excited (and pretty scared!) for the next step but feeling ready for it. Caaatch me in SF next! 🌁 by @alegoesoutside

It’s been almost a year since this epic trip to Portugal. 2026 has had a bit less international travel for me than usual, soo I’ve been reminiscing a bit.

I have no reason for posting about this now other than I’m craving some beautiful fado, a bit of port, a francesinha and travel with fave peeps 🫶🏼 and just in general my life philosophy is better late than never 🙃

Here’s a bunch of pics of an epic trip, beautiful friends, music, food, wine, history and to many more NYE spent on boats abroad! And to hopefully returning to regularly scheduled traveling soooon by @alegoesoutside

This photo is unposted from my birthday shoot almost exactly a year ago. In Feb of 2025, I asked @julianahenaoc to take a pic for my 31st birthday. Something in me knew that this year would be a big one. I could feel a shift coming: one that would rebuild me from the inside out. And now a year later on my 32nd birthday… all I can say is ooooh was I right.

Call it Saturn’s return, blame it on astrology, the year of the snake, numerology, personal growth, or whatever else, last year was a big year of change. It was challenging and unexpected and good and weird and wonderful. And upon reflection all I can say is: I’ve never felt more myself. I’m so grateful for all of the experiences that led to right now. Where I might know less than ever, but feel the most at peace I ever have. This past year has brought stillness, clarity, more capacity to handle uncertainty, and a profound inner knowing. It’s been great to meet myself again. To go deeper within myself and uncover what’s been wanting to flourish.

I don’t know what this year will bring. Maybe more changes, maybe it will call for resilience, maybe it will test me and make me practice all I’ve learned. Time will tell.

As long as there are unbridled moments of joy, good music, good food, inspiration, travel, adventure, and wonderfullllll people at my side, I’m here for absolutely every part of it.

Here’s to 32 🥂

(P.S. this is also an excuse to start posting some throwbacks from travel, so get ready) by @alegoesoutside

Back to regularly scheduled programming of me going outside: A couple weeks ago I outsided a lot in the heat ☀️🫠 and finished my first ever bike race!

A lil backstory: my friends told me they were doing the @focofondo, a 62mi gravel race that happens every year in Fort Collins. Before I knew it I’d signed up and had committed to the race that was happening in like 4 days ooooops. I’d done 0 training for this aside from starting to run a little and playing a lot of pickeball lately which is not at all equivalent to riding a bike lol 🫠 but here I was swapping my road tires for gravel ones a few days before the race. Spoiler alert: it was a bad idea (those of you who watched my stories the day of know exactly what I mean 😅)

It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done mostly bc it was like 100 degrees out and there wasn’t enough water in the world to help me feel hydrated and also turns out that not training for a hard bike race is kinda dumb?? Only 20mi in I already wanted to quit and sincerely doubted I’d make it. Somehow though (with lots and lots of encouragement from awesome friends) I managed to get the remaining 40mi and make it to the finish line!

When I was done I told myself I’d never do anything like that again buuut now that it’s been a bit… I’m deefinitely gonna do it again 🤪

…but maybe I’ll learn my lesson next time and train a little. And wear a lot more sunscreen.

@laurenrowell.jpeg @sarahkos 118mi one in 2026? 👀

Check out some pics from the race taken by @em.sierra (I’m the one dying on the right 😬) by @alegoesoutside

This ain’t Texas, we’re just dressed like it 👖🎿

Been on lots of skiing adventures this season but the only one I documented was the one with ridiculous outfits. Exactly as it should be!

Also @trankristian you missed 🤪⛄️ by @alegoesoutside

The news is depressing me rn so I’m going back to late 2024 (when there was still some? hope) and continuing my travel posts.

So, just pretend with me…ok?

Türkiye continued: After seeing the sights from the balloons, we had to go to Rose Valley & do a hike! It was soo cool and I know I say this all the time but this time I rly mean it! Look at this insaanely awesome landscape!

Human imagination is also incredible. This place has such rich history!

Story time: Before Christianity was legalized early Christians fled to this area to escape Roman persecution. Later once the religion became more established, this area became an important center for Byzantine Monks who followed Christian Orthodox teachings. They expanded these cave dwellings, painted frescoes & expanded the hidden passageways. And they had a whole system of communication using carrier pigeons! 🐦 Dwellings here only ended when Seljuk & Ottoman rule took over and many had to flee or migrate. Some Greek Orthodox communities remained behind but now they’re all mostly abandoned and open for us to explore & learn from!

Pics 1-9:
1: Had to take a pic with such a cool view
2: Sneak through every tunnel obvi
3: So smooooth, so camera ready
4: Super cute restaurant at the beginning!
5: I mean just look at that
6: Will never not climb when given the chance
7: Carrier pigeon dwellings!
8: Vid’s worth watching till the end (so impressive!)
9: Just. Wow. Earth. Is. Cool

Honestly such a beautiful hike that made me feel so appreciative of the Earth we live in and all the beautiful places left to explore!

And quick side note: really makes you wonder how there are people who having this type of magic at their fingertips want to dedicate their lives to colonizing Mars. Why?
Maaaaaybe if they like Mars so much, they should just goo 👋🏽 and the rest of us can stay here and hike stuff like this. Ok, I’m done

Thanks for traveling back w me & ❤️ to the one person who read this whole thing :) by @alegoesoutside

I’ve given up on posting cool travel adventures on time so here’s this fun thing from last year!

Part of my crazy day in Cappadocia included a bucket list item! IDK why but I’ve always wanted to ride a camel and it was so weird & fun!

This cute guy was hellla grumpy and very annoyed that I dared to bother him for a ride that day. Sound on to hear his noises 🐫 but I like to think we became besties throughout the ride!

My guide was also so great. He blew up my camera roll and took legitimately 400+ pics of me on this camel. He was such a good photographer and also kinda a modeling coach lol? What made it so funny was that he didn’t speak English and would demonstrate the poses he wanted me to make 😆 Truly 10/10! Good lookin out 🤙🏽

Was a fun day! More posts to come! by @alegoesoutside

Dias de Enero 🏝️🍻 by @alegoesoutside

Just squeezing in a few more travel posts from my Turkish adventures before the year wraps up! 🇹🇷

This part of my trip was absolutely incredible and 100% a last-minute decision! 😅 I originally had 3 (already too short) days planned in Istanbul, but when I realized I could add in a few bucket-list items and still do everything else I wanted, I figured why the hell not!

I got to Cappadocia at midnight, caught maybe 4 hours of sleep, and was up by 5 AM for the hot air balloon flight and a pretty full day of activities!

Hot air ballooning has been on my bucket list forever, and it was just pure magic! Everyone said it would be breathtaking and a completely unique experience, and they were nottt kidding.

The views? Absolutely unreal. The experience? Incredible. The temps? Freezingg it was freaking November 🥶

Totally worth the lack of sleep. Bucket list item #1 compleete! I’m beyond glad I did this! 🎈✨

(Might share the other one I did if I manage to find time tomorrow ✌🏽Also this is my first attempt at a reel so like IDK how this turned out 🥲) by @alegoesoutside

Travel adventures continued!

(Yes, I’m terrible at actually sharing my travel posts on time, but ya girl’s been living on a plane ✈️ so just now getting to it!)

Decided to head to Chania in Crete last minute and improvise once I got there! This hike of Samaria Gorge popped up as a must-do and I went for it! I’m also a complete sucker for a gorge hike. There’s always such varied features and vegetation and it’s guaranteed to be stunning & cool when the walls start to rise!

It was all downhill for like 12 miles (aka knee su*cide) so relatively easy and more of a walk with tons of amazing landscapes!

The hike took us to this old village in the middle of it where we got to rest & relax. They had these cute homes and a beautiful fountain and goats walking all around!

Besssst part of this hike tho? We ended the actual hike part in this pretttyyyy UNESCO protected reserve that was plant-lover dreaaams, had beer & good coffee AND then walked to an oceanfront village that was only accessible by ferry! We got to wrap up the hike by relaxing by the sea with a book, and eating great food before getting picked up by the ferry at sunset.

Great times all around! I wish I’d had more time to explore Crete & Chania. Will for sure be going back to see what other fun I can get up to :) by @alegoesoutside
