Sé nou menm.
(This is us.)

Indigo has been used for centuries to dye textiles, giving us that deep blue we know in denim. In the South, indigo is also connected to generations of African and Creole labor, creativity, and tradition.

So we wear our indigo hands as a celebration — honoring the hands that came before us and the culture they passed down.

From the Gullah Geechee to the Louisiana Creoles — this is us.

Happy Creole Heritage Month, Sher!
