SWIPE FOR AN ENCOURAGING TESTIMONY🤍 >>>>

This was definitely God’s Master’s degree. I refuse to take any credit for what He has done. In April 2023, during my final month of drama school, God made it abundantly clear that I was to let go of my 13 year pursuit of becoming an actor. So I did. Everyone thought I was crazy, and to be honest, so did I. For the first time in my life, I had to abandon everything I knew and walk by faith alone. Before I gave up acting, my spiritual father gave me one instruction to do another degree. I had no idea that just a few months later it would become my only option.

Although I had never used Student Finance during drama school, they refused to fund another bachelor’s degree, but they would fund a Master’s. I begged God, “Please don’t make me do it!” 😂 Yet before I knew it, I was enrolled on an HR Master’s course. From the very first lecture, where I could hear English but somehow still not understand a word being said, I couldn’t wait for graduation. I was overwhelmed with fear, doubt and imposter syndrome. I went from being the girl who relied on her natural gift to becoming the girl who had no choice but to rely completely on God.

One thing I can say is that when God sends you somewhere, you will never lack a thing. He provided an incredible tutor who was kind, caring and patient enough to walk alongside me throughout the course. He gave me favour with the right lecturers. He opened the door for an internship. I won an Inclusivity Award. I received grades I never thought someone like me could achieve. He gave me understanding of my HR course and slowly everything began to click. For years I had asked God to help me fulfil my academic potential because I always felt I had fallen short. Through the challenges of this course, He answered that prayer. More importantly, He refined me, building a faith and dependence on Him that I never knew I could have. Looking back, I am so grateful God redirected my path. I would never have experienced fruitfulness, blessed opportunities or this closeness with Him had I stayed on the road I had chosen for myself.
