09/09, you’ll always be my favourite day.
(lasts photos are my fav ones 🤭)

As I say goodbye to my twenties, I can only look back with gratitude. A decade filled with breakthroughs, growth, life lessons - the good ones and the not-so-good ones (because sometimes, those are the ones that teach you how to get back up and keep moving forward) - self-discovery, travels, new homes, new opportunities, and beautiful friendships.

I’ve learned that change is the only constant. That, sadly, not everything is meant to last forever, no matter how hard we try to hold on to it - and yet, some places and traditions somehow remain unchanged. I’ve learned that perfection doesn’t exist, because we are all perfectly imperfect; that what’s meant for you will find its way to you; and that stepping outside your comfort zone is essential to see things differently, open your mind, and keep evolving into the person you’re meant to become.

If I could speak to twenty-year-old Aleida, I’d tell her that everything is going to be okay. To trust and to believe in herself more, and to know that she is capable of achieving anything she sets her mind to. I’d tell her that everything comes in its own time, and that when things don’t turn out the way she imagined, sometimes it’s simply because something even better is waiting ahead.

Today, I can truly say how grateful I am for this life. I feel incredibly lucky to be who I am, proud of everything I’ve achieved, and endlessly grateful for the people who love me, stand beside me, and have chosen to be part of my journey.

Dear 30, I’m ready - que no pare la fiesta!
Here’s to a new decade filled with love, health, happiness, excitement and beautiful new beginnings. Because this is only the beginning, and I have a feeling the best is yet to come.

Happy birthday to me 🎂💘🫰🏼✨💃🏼🦋🍀
