It was when I first started Herbalife 11 yrs ago, before zoom... I was sitting on the floor having just come home from prison and as my luck would have it, with 2 broken legs ( that's a whole other story of how I got 2 broken legs ) listening in over the phone on a party line an Herbalife "Build it Better" corporate call when i first heard @tommygioiosa story!

Hearing a story of someone who had a past similar to mine, gave me belief that "someone like me" could be successful in Herbalife 🙌🏾

When i had a chance to meet Tommy ( on more than one occasion... 1 being the legendary "Dom & Dom Party 🍕 🍾 ) he left me with 2 very simple things and ive kept them as foundational values/beliefs in my business. 1. treat everyone nice 2. never give up

Hearing Tommy speak on stage again today, I could hear Matk Hughes in him, and a lesson Mark taught kept coming to mind. "If you'll just give more to others, your wildest dreams will come true" ✨️

Its with a servants heart, and the commitment I've made, not to myself but to those who trust me in their journey that I continue to push forward simply sharing what was so graciously shared with me.

It was a tough afternoon yesterday, Alessandra didn't want me to leave for my training 🥺

But as I got here and help setup the room, I was getting my things ready, digging through my pencil pouch and found a little surprise...📝

11 yrs, wow! I cant believe its been that long this soon! Let's go back in time, I wanna share a story with you...

At this point in life, I was just getting home from an extended stay in a "gated community"... I was lost, I was alone and honestly I was afraid to leave. All I knew was my past life and way of living.

I found myself working for whoever would give me a job, and at that time it was at a full service car wash 🧼... I worked 9-10 hr days 6 days a wk making $6/hr ( keep in mind min wage was $8.90/hr ) which honestly at that time was better than constantly looking over my shoulder wondering if Johnny Law was on to me.

"Starting from the Bottom" is an understatement, but I'll spare you. I slept on a friend's couch, lived out of a laundry basket and my form of transportation was a bicycle. I had a P.O. who was ready to violate me for being short, if he could find a way to... jk but seriously he was on me like white on rice 🍚

It was 11 yrs ago on this day, I signed my online form to be an Herbalife Distributor, not knowing a single thing about health. It was during that time I was also run over by a car breaking both my legs! Over the yrs I've given my best effort to help, guide and lead people to a better life. Simply sharing what was so graciously shared with me.

I didn't see it then, but looking back, I'm greatful for my setbacks, for what it took to get here. I see now, what I thought were loses were lessons God taught me. In these past yrs, I've learned to humble myself to put my pride aside and ask for help as there were many things I couldn't do myself. I learned to be patient...

I guess that's where I'm at now in life. I don't know what God has in store for me, but patience has taught me to wait, my faith has allowed me to let go of needing to control everything. God got me through everything I got myself into, he's brought me this far, and I know I'm here for a reason!

I don't regret any of my past or my decisions, they each play a pivotal role in my life. To be where and who I am today, I owe all to God, he made a way and I know he's a purpose for my life.
