Visualising the blow-up construction by OpenAI in the purported resolution of the Navier-Stokes existence and smoothness Millennium Problem. Extensive work by Diego Córdoba, Luis Martínez-Zoroa, Tristan Buckmaster, Jiajie Chen, Thomas Hou, Terence Tao, along with Jean Leray in 1934 and Eberhard Hopf in 1950, has contributed enormously to our understanding of these nonlinear PDEs. We will have to see if OpenAI's work holds up to peer review! by @alejandro.jsfr

Caution: walk the long way around the orange doughnut and you will arrive in time to see yourself set off.

An ordinary black hole has a point singularity. In a rotating black hole, or Kerr black hole, the point gets smeared out into a ringularity enclosing a disc of totally normal, traversable spacetime. The orange wireframe enclosed region (drawn for visualisation, no actual emission) is a region where travelling in a circle brings you back to before you left.
