What if Dispatch had an anime-style opening? What started as a whim became an impromptu shoot at AnimeNYC. Thanks to all who took part and thanks to @theadhocstudio for making a great game.

This post isn’t about me. This is about the wonderful people that made AnimeNYC for me. A lot of these people I met just this year, some I met a couple of months ago and some I met on the day of the con! But they all did one thing, they showed up. That itself meant the absolute world to me ☺️ To my Z-Team, Eclip5e⭐️ and everyone else I had the privilege to spend time with at AnimeNYC…Thank you ❤️

My hoodie was a paid actor 😌

As a kid I LOVED Power Rangers! I actually even auditioned and got as far as a callback for ‘Power Rangers: Dino Fury’ back in 2020. In 2008, I was OBSESSED with one of the Japanese sentai that Power Rangers was based on called “Go-Onger” and thanks to @goldenfriendfromtheeast, @kamenramenstudios and @equinox_cosplay I got to live out a dream of mine! What if I was Go-On Red? 🤔

If you’re ever in need of any transformation sequence or a fun edit for your cosplay @kamenramenstudios and @goldenfriendfromtheeast are the best! This was worth every penny!! And for cosplay needs? @equinox_cosplay is the GOAT!!

This was one of those projects where as soon as I read the script I knew it would be something special. Acting in this project was so cathartic for me in so many ways and I’m just so grateful I had the opportunity to bring Michael to life. @katherine_mj_quinn , you had such a clear vision with this film and you nailed it on every front. It was such a joy to collaborate with you from the rehearsals to our shoot day and I had such an unforgettable experience on your set! @anna_toloczko , I don’t think I would’ve given the performance I did if I didn’t have you to play opposite of me and give me the energy and emotions of your Gabriela, what a wonderful performance! And of course the entire crew made it such a great environment to be around. Professionalism all around and even with the heavy material, everyone made it so comfortable and fun!

Grateful is the only word that comes to mind when I think of every single person in these photos. Without the support, help and love of these people there would be no “Spider-Man: Courtesy Prelude”.

Making this film was the most fun I’ve ever had on a set and it’s thanks to the amazing cast and crew that I worked with. I couldn’t have asked for a better team. And to the people not in these photos who also worked on the film you have my deepest gratitude. I couldn’t be prouder of the work we did.

If you told me when I was a kid that one day I would play Peter Parker/Spider-Man in a movie I wouldn’t believe you. This film was truly a dream come true for me. I hope young Alejandro would be proud of the man he grew up to be as I am proud of the little dreamer he always was.
