Meet Michael Watson, a guest in Room A10. An 8-part vertical drama-thriller I shot during my time away. This was a fun experiment combining my favourite genre and a new style/format of shooting film and tv. by @alekakhay

Seasons: A New Year's Dedication

A career in acting has definitely been the most difficult thing for me to pursue. Trying to establish myself without an agent, auditioning for many roles and not hearing anything back, applying to join an agency and being told "You're too camp", and starting to lose faith and trust in my capabilities as a performer because I allow the rejection to overwhelm me. All the manifesting and crying for a career which I know is financially unstable, but I can't see myself not doing it. Entering 2024 with these headshots is a promise to keep on trying and even if I don't succeed, I'll never stop trying. In this new year, I want to dedicate more of myself to my acting career.

Thank you to @_imaginethatstudio for a wonderful shoot and these amazing shots.

"When I was a little boy, my earliest memory of a career I dreamed about was acting, and some how I never looked back. Yes I have other dreams, but being an actor has always been the most consistent dream of all. I'm Kopano Lekhoathi aka Aleka Khay and I'm an actor."
