Course 88

The past five weeks have been intense challenging, stressful, but also genuinely exciting as we completed the first training course of 2026. I’m so relieved to have passed all the exams and practicals (even though I came very close to having to resit a couple — security and service, I’m looking at you 😒).
I’m really grateful for everyone I met on the course. We supported each other through it all — from traveling together and yapping to practising drills over and over again *cries*.

There were definitely moments when it felt incredibly tough: waking up at ridiculous hours on barely any sleep, revising every day till late, and having no time for anything else. But looking back, I’m so glad I applied for this job over a year ago — otherwise I wouldn’t have received my wings last Friday 🥂

2025 🥂💫❤️‍🩹

2025 was a really crappy year for me full of mostly downs and a sprinkle of up moments but I’m grateful for the many lessons I had to go through. Heartbreak, grief and disappointment were definitely not on my bingo cards for last year but unfortunately those things you don’t ask for they just show up. I’m proud of myself with how I chose to deal with the lessons I got given and I know I gave 2025 my all so I have no regrets! I will treasure some of the best and worst memories of this year for a long time.

Part of life is losing people who you grow close to and end up loving, if the universe decides that someone or something isn’t meant to stay in your life it will give you so many negative experiences until one day you let go and hopefully receive something better. It doesn’t mean it’s a goodbye forever just in this current chapter. One chapter has to close for another to open and I believe the next chapter is going to be amazing so let 2026 bring so much joy and love full of new experiences and opportunities to those who also had a crap 2025.
