Great news alert ‼️ and introduction for new followers.

I accident created a fashion label starting again at 50!

I am an artist, mum to beautiful young man with autism and bipolar who needs full time care.
We are great team.
I originally got the 3Dpen for him. I didn’t like the materials that come with it so I searched for something more environmentally friendly and easer to use.
I was so excited at the possibilities the tool presented. with creativity and imaginations the ideas were endless.
I shared one of the necklaces on instagram and I was invited to include it for the 10th anniversary of aether magazine London fashion week show,
I never looked back.
I drawn my outfits for every and any occasion extending to friends and collaborators.
Drawing with a pen was something I could do anytime around my sons’s needs. It became possible to build a collection and now I am showing at LFW on the 17/09

How I made #3dpenfashion accessories for my new bloom collection starting with this ‘blood red bleed ’ piece.

I always take inspiration from nature and what is happening in the world. As the winter bare brunches are filling up with drops of hope, the world is shading blood like it doesn’t matter.

I attended @houseofaristocrats show @mrporter_london organised by the amazing god father in fashion @alanendfield to support @pharaoh_farrukh vision by contributing my floral touches to his collection. This are my water sea life flowers from summer 2025.

“Dark before the Bloom” it’s the start of collection that I have designed last year demonstrating the transitions we all have to take to blossom. Face the true, reality, darkness so that we can flourish.

The spikes that can be perceived as aggression are protection of our inner beauty. We all at some point in life experience being vulnerable when showing our kindness and love for others.

Did you know that audio ON 🔊for this video is necessary? It’s fascinating how much we can learn about growing as humans from Mother Nature. 🪾

I used the elements of tree dresses and masks or crowns for my “Bloom after Dark” London Fashion Week collection for many reasons.
Forest was always safes space for me growing up. Place that people find scary or get lost in it, for me was a shelter from what was going on at home. I often found myself in iT. Found my strengths, skills, and ability to remember details so that I know where I am. Special awareness. Forest was also a symbol of survival. Confidence in my ability.

The concept of trees growing in both directions is something that I reimagined into my life. Setting up roots in a new country as an 18-year-old was hard and I have failed terribly, often growing my crown too big and heavy, before I had foundation.
The past few years, meeting my tribe, I have finally felt grounded enough to spread my brunches out and wilder. The people around me are my roots and I am grateful for this.
A tree never stops growing. Rain or wind, dry sun or storms.

What an incredible celebration of the 15th anniversary of #agt26 by @annakennedyobe

We are so privileged to support this amazing show that I have been attending with my son @ethan.bester for over 10 years.

I have seen so many of this incredibly talented young people growing over the years to a spectacular levels, thank to Anna’s relentless efforts to give them this platform to shine.
She deserves the Autism Hero award.

Thank you to my beautiful team for bringing some colour and diversity to this magical night.

This hat was drawn with a #3Dpen using soft rubber-like material that is super light and permits building a volume.

Originally made for @ascotracecourse inspired by My Fair Lady and worn by @joshuagpasquale as a tribute to his grandmother.
Later forming my London Fashion Week collection “Bloom after Dark”
The flowers are white and dust pink apple blossoms.
Accompanied by this couture, handmade apple tree dress, that is a tribute to my grandfather, who planted many trees for a beautiful wood that he then used to build stunning clocks 🕰️. I believe it works together 🌸

MASKING - it’s term used in the #neurodiverse community. Refers to the need to hide and protect oneself.
I know first hand what is like having to be many people to many demands. So does my son @ethan.bester

In my “Bloom after dark” #lfw collection I refer to this topic by presenting my #3dpen hand drawn skirt made of many masks.

The bio-rubber material allows for flexibility, softness and strength. Drawing my own textile it’s a novel approach to fashion that I am disrupting, bridging artistry, freedom of expression with fashion and what we perceive as a garment.

#3dprinted human heart handbag, symbolises the need to preserve humanity in times of AI and segregation “wearing a heart on my sleeve” is what we need more then ever.

Thank you to my dear friend and partner in crime @dave_the_phot for amazing collaboration. Happy birthday young man. Let’s have many more creative adventures together 🩷

#lfw debut “Bloom after Dark” presenting my hand drawn accessories and handmade sculptural garments.

Starting again at 50, I need it to build an army, wisdom from the eldest.

Strong foundation of skills, experience, knowledge and a whole army of support.

Wise man character played by my dear friend @derekonthesaltmarsh wearing my @davidbowie inspired trousers, beaded collar and jacket and #3dpen hand drawn hat.

The story is based on song by @birdyinstagram “silhouette” as it reflects my personal journey, braking through massive and many barriers that are set for single mum with disabled child.

We had so much fun visiting the @designmuseum @wesandersonplanet exhibition. As always we have dressed up for the occasion after spending few weeks watching his incredible films.

For the first time in the UK you can see his original storyboards, Polaroid’s, sketches, paintings, handwritten notes, puppets, models, costumes and more …

On display till the 26 th of July and it’s very popular so do book in advance.

@emily___berry PHD in creative writing also uniquely talented dresser and often makes her own outfits.

@chrisfreemangallery photographer with his very own unique style. You will always see him in satin or silk shirts with puffy sleeves

@muscovyducks4u photographer but on more occasions now letting his inner child out in playful fashion

@anniepaint after retiring from nursing, is now exceptional photographer and dedicated colourist

Army can be many things. In my “Bloom after Dark” #lfw collection, the army I create all have not-super-but-human powers. Love, community, compassion, humanity, honour… the one that the world has forgotten about.

This #3dpen drawn armer has two faces on each shoulder representing good & evile, dark and light, right & wrong, yin & yang …. it’s not about ether or, it’s about what’s in the middle.

Mask in the middle represent protecting your brain and your mind as the biggest power we have. It’s inside a jellyfish that’s guarding it.
Autonomy, Freedom of expression, Dignity, Liberty … all the “old fashioned” values.

Ali loves jellyfish and embraces the character.
