In the 1960s, Margaret Lovatt was part of a Nasa-funded project to communicate with dolphins. Soon she was living with ‘Peter, the dolphin’ 24 hours a day in a converted house, an experiment that went tragically wrong.

Peter, being an adolescent dolphin, frequently had sexual urges which disrupted his lessons, and taking Peter to a downstairs pool with two female dolphins proved to be a logistical issue for Lovatt. Eventually, Lovatt relieved Peter's urges herself, stating "It wasn't sexual on my part. Sensuous perhaps. It seemed to me that it made the bond closer. Not because of the sexual activity, but because of the lack of having to keep breaking. And that's really all it was. I was there to get to know Peter. That was part of Peter ... It would just become part of what was going on, like an itch, just get rid of that scratch and we would be done and move on.

Other problems arose surrounding the project. In addition to Lovatt's animal communication research, Lilly had been funded to research the effects of the drug LSD. Lilly had been testing the effects of the drug on subject dolphins, with no results. Since neither his communication experiments nor his LSD research were proving fruitful, Lilly's Dolphinarium eventually lost all funding. Due to the lack of funding, the dolphins were moved to a different facility in a repurposed bank building in Miami.

In smaller tanks, and since the building lacked sunlight and space, Peter quickly deteriorated and eventually "committed suicide", in John C. Lilly's words.[1] Dolphin activist Ric O'Barry explains, "Dolphins are not automatic air-breathers like we [humans] are... Every breath is a conscious effort. If life becomes too unbearable, the dolphins just take a breath and they sink to the bottom. They don't take the next breath.

JEEZ, don't get me wrong I loved this show since the beginning.... But this is such an épic fall from grace.
And the allegations of the Duffer Brothers the script theft for the first season would explain why the 4 subsequent seasons aren't as good 🤔

QT feels more and more as a Hack Director with time, most of his filmmaking style is to steal from other great directors and movies, than he passes as a genius.

I haven't posted for a while now... you know being homeless and all, but our fantastic Director Steven Kostanski just released this remake or more of a re-imagining of the Classic Deathstalker and he made another pretty fun movie.

It's lot less rappy than the original for better or worst depending of your taste lol

I'm not a fan of the side character's adr by Patton Oswald, isn't sync correctly at time.... maybe it's on purpose though.

Great creative creatures design and lot's of gore.
Love this epic fantasy.
