My lizard, you came into my life when I was only seventeen and since then everything changed. We’ve grown up together. I look back at all of the time we’ve had with one another and it makes me cry of happiness. You’re so special to me and I hope I always demonstrate that to you. You love and protect me, you’ve helped me open up and even grow in my faith as I’ve had the chance to join you in your journey. You bring out the joy in me, I get all lit when you’re around because I always want to make you laugh and smile. I feel so thankful and blessed to have you by my side, Lizette. I love you much.
I know you took a while to propose because you wanted everything to be perfect for me because I always bag on basic proposals 😅 I LOVE my Zelda themed ring. (The Zora sapphire is from ocarina of time, seen as an engagement ring, so I always felt like my engagement ring had to include this as Zelda is such a big part of my personality) The fact that you searched for a castle that looks so incredibly similar to Hyrule castle 🥹 The weather was perfect, and these goats were our witnesses to our proposal hahaha, beer for breakfast followed by meatball subs, our lovely Airbnb; the whole trip overall with its beautiful scenery was perfect. Happy Easter, everyone ✝️

I couldn’t be more proud of my Lizard. As of yesterday, she has answered God’s call and is baptized, received her first communion, and is confirmed. The wait is over.
Being able to accompany and support her on her journey, seeing the changes in her, the happiness it has brought her as well as my family has been incredibly rewarding.

Fifteen year old me would never have thought that she’d be taking a picture with phantogram. Sarah said she loved my hair and I’m not even sure if I even replied because I was so nervous and shook 🥲
I’ve been to a lot of concerts throughout my life. By far, this is the one that has impacted me the most. This is the only show that has ever given me post concert depression. I enjoyed every second of it and never wanted it to end. The lighting was on point for every single song, the crowd was respectful/friendly and we even made friends with the couple next to us, the band played beautifully, Sarah has such a powerful stage presence, and it was so cool to see how Josh and her interacted. Their friendship can be seen in the way they perform together. It was really nice to see. Everything about this show was perfect. I was captivated the entire time. You can just tell that these people genuinely appreciate their fans and enjoy what they do. During the show, my girlfriend turned to me and said,” this is one of the happiest days of my life.” I agree completely. Thank you @phantogram ❤️

My sweet sweet lizard. Today marks six years of us being together. We’ve definitely had our ups and downs, but what matters most is learning and growing together. That’s what makes a relationship work.
You are complicated, I must admit, but figuring you out has been worth the effort to me. I hope you feel the same about me cause we’ve seen all sides of each other.
We know each other’s reactions. I’m pretty psycho sometimes about the braziest things, like getting upset because you got distracted and burned the food. You can’t eat three m&ms without becoming annoying due to all the energy.
I love you. You’re my future wife, Lizette. I can’t see myself growing old with anybody else. I love all of your “imperfections,” cause to me they aren’t imperfections. I love spending my time with you, doesn’t matter what we do. We could lay in bed and watch tv, run errands, cook/bake together, go to a music festival, and I could enjoy my time.
