With the PGF draft being tomorrow it feels like the right time to post this… it is my dream to make it on PGF and I went from watching every single match at home (I still will) to traveling across the country trying my absolute best to make it onto the @pgfworld season 9, from having @brandonmc.ninja commentate and watch my matches to having @heath_the_ref referee my matches to having @derek_rayfield corner me in Pasadena, all I can say is I’m endlessly grateful for the opportunity to compete for PGF and a little bummed I didn’t make it but it only makes me more motivated to get on the next season that is my weight. by @alex_bannan

I had a crazy weekend at the @phillyphenoms qualifier… after weigh ins Abby was driving us home and some dude crashed into us going 75mph and totaled his car and damaged ours, (we were both okay) this made me realize how grateful I am to be able to compete and be healthy and alive. I went 1-1 in the qualifier surviving a super deep RNC and turning it around to finish a RNC of my own to earn my first money bag! I felt great in my 2nd match but I ended up getting ankle locked near the end by a tough opponent. After 15 and a half hours of driving a half broke car home we made it back to Marquette safe and sound! taken in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by @alex_bannan

I’m super excited for yet another opportunity to get on @pgfworld . I’ve made it through the travel, and the weight cut, now I’m ready to have some fun and show all the PGF teams my jiu jitsu and heart. This is my dream and I wouldn’t trade it for anything else! @houston_wranglers_pgf taken in Houston, Texas by @alex_bannan
