INTRODUCING CHEERBUDS @cheerbudsshow 🥳🤩

My favorite part of the life I’ve built is how many insanely inspiring friends I get to cheer for.

I was waiting for a show to start—not just any show, one where I’d get to see MY FRIENDS perform, an experience novel and thrilling to me—when I realized I needed to give this joy to as many people as possible.

I came up with the concept for Cheerbuds: taking two people whose worlds might never overlap and trying to make them friends. It’s what I already do all the time; why not share it with the world?

So in the last year I’ve sampled dozens of lounge chairs, learned how to run my own audio, recorded one trial run and another, held parties where guests helped me brainstorm a title, and succumbed to inertia and doubted my work ethic before finally powering through to get to launch day.

Many, many thank yous to those who believed in me and made my idea a reality: to @alexbajotmusic, @cclarakayy, and @prestonlydotes for teaching me audio engineering with patience and encouragement; to @_haleykx_ and @lilyylindstrom for so joyfully designing the branding elements and website; to
@noemma.o and @katiecharps.art (+ Claire and Haley again) for being test guests; to everyone who came to the naming parties! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I am so happy you can finally put Cheerbuds in your earbuds <3

maine was like meeting cousins i didn’t know i had, familiar and foreign all at once. i left with a greater appreciation for self-reliance and the ever-present forest. can’t wait for the next family reunion! 🫶
