Hey everyone 👋 Figured with all the new followers I’d do a little introduction . I’m 30, based in Pittsburgh, PA, and photography has been woven into my life for as long as I can remember, even before I realized it. As a kid, I’d sneak my dad’s Polaroid film and take blurry pictures of anything that caught my eye. It wasn’t until my teenage years, as a punk skater hanging with friends, that I really started to see the magic of capturing moments. Back then, we’d get hyped just having photos that weren’t taken on a razor flip phone.

After high school I studied graphic design, and that’s when I really started wandering the city with a camera in hand, documenting whatever sparked my curiosity. I never stuck to one style, I just chased whatever felt interesting in the moment. Over the years my passion came and went, but in the past five years I’ve really been dialing in on what I want to create. Lately, I’ve been working on reaching out and connecting with other photographers around the world, which has been inspiring since I don’t have many photography friends in my everyday life.

Outside of photography, I’m a proud dad of two amazing kids, and I’m lucky to have a wonderful partner (@lovelylady_lydia , definitely check her out, she does some really cool work).

1 hour in the South Hills. Leaves are starting to change and it’s getting cooler. Autumn has a special place in my heart and with a heavy rain it creates a really unique atmosphere. Always happy to cross some spots off my list of things I want to photograph. Another year watching @lovelyladylydiaartistry perform at Combustion Festival for @riversofsteel. Her and her team put in the work and never fail to captivate me and a crowd. Great job everyone 🙌🏻

Got out there for a little today before work. Mentally happy I did so but physically exhausted lol So much awesome architecture here in Pittsburgh. it’s easy to miss just driving through so it’s nice to just walk around.
I miss my friend @governing. He passed last year and I remember when I first moved out here to go to school with him he was so happy to show me around. Sun up to sun down we just ran around. It feels weird sometimes doing this without him but it feels good to continue doing it and getting waves of nostalgia.

Iv lived my whole life in the grunge belt. Why I always get homesick from a place rotting from the inside is a mystery to me but here I am. Maybe it’s nature reclaiming a post industrial era or our past is the inevitable future. Maybe it’s the anarchy in my blood that would love to see trees growing out the tallest buildings. Got to play with @lovelylady_lydia 😈
She really is so talented and dedicated to her craft. Photographer and performer duo, it just works.
The light bokeh is the first image is fuel 😅 didn’t like it at first but it’s grown on me, talk about in camera effects? lol I wish I got to document her shows more often but it’s hard to handle a camera and two small children at the same time (not that it’s stopped me before) but I get to help out with the promotional stuff here so I’ll take it.
