A love letter to all 💌 by @alexadickel

I had such a wonderful time running anthotype workshops at @fump_ festival this weekend. It was so lovely to teach people how to create unique artworks with plants and sunlight. 🌱🌞

Swipe to the end to see some of the results ✨

Pics shot on film 📸 by @alexadickel

Absolutely loved creating this installation for LCC’s collaborative exhibition at the Copeland Gallery last week. 🍃 ‘Memory of the Forest’ brings together a suspended collage, a publication and a sound piece. The project was inspired by Epping Forest - its histories and the English & Celtic folklore surrounding ancient forests.

We had so much fun experimenting while making this work. From developing film with holly leaves, to toning cyanotypes with bark and burying film in soil, I’ve never tried out so many processes in such a short time!

A special thanks to:
The wonderful group @_cyuliu_ @pranav_gooner @mistyday6
Our tutor @victoria.ahrens and the technicians at @lcclondonphoto
@copelandparkse
Hannah from the @sustainabledarkroom for sharing your plant wisdom with us ✨ by @alexadickel
