It’s been exactly 90 days since I came back from Peru and so much in my life has changed. Thank you Peru for preparing & challenging me to become a better version of myself. I still find it surreal for me to have just up and left to a new country for 6 months, leaving my whole life behind. I still think about you, and I’m itching to travel and do it all again. The experiences, the people I met along the way, and Zara were all worth it. Till we meet again next year 🤍 taken in Peru by @alexahech

I left my normal life to reconnect with myself. To slow down , to learn and to heal. I’m finally picking myself over others and the distractions that come with every day life. Just following my heart and doing what feels right.

My family asked me if I really had to travel to a whole other continent to study yoga ~ of course I did, and who cares if no one gets it.

All that matters is that it makes sense to me 🙂‍↔️✌🏽😛

Jersey City Marathon - Recap 🏃🏻‍♀️💨

This one meant everything to me.
Three years ago, after my accident, I didn’t know if I’d ever move like this again. So tbh every step felt like a gift. I felt very strong up until mile 18 , when I hit a pothole and misstepped. I tried so hard to push through but by mile 20, I was walking and ready to just walk the rest of the way . I felt like I was pulled out of my flow state fr 😭

But then, I thought about the people waiting for me at the finish line. I thought about how they took the time out of their day to show up & support me, so I needed to show up for myself and push through that pain. I started running and kept going until the very end 🥹

To my friends and family who showed up on that cold, windy day…thank you for carrying me when I needed it most 🙏🏽

Finally, I couldn’t have done this without MY GIRL INA 🤪🤸🏽‍♀️💨 she’s my rock fr, through every winter run and every tough day- I really couldn’t have done it without you. The first of many 🩷✨
