I believe, as many do, in the healing powers of getting together as friends and family as often as we can around food, music, sports. Our world is wrecked with bad leaders, economic uncertainties. We are all lucky to be alive. I am grateful for my village, I want all the butter without getting fat, I want to run a sprint without being in pain, I want us to not just forget our pain but learn from it. L’ETE part III - Today officially summer is over for me. If I had to summarize July 2026, it was our first time as Comporta residents. It was not enough time to do everything or see everyone, but we spent incredible meals with their friends such as Marta and Rui and with my sister Valeria and my mother. We had a visit of my niece Lara and lastly Pon and Sarah. Walks, trips to IKEA, branzino every day, sand inside the house and tons of Negroni. After three years I am back to my second favorite island #ibiza. This time we came to introduce @chloekoehler_costa not only to the clubs but what it feels to be in White Lotus type hotel and that the best moments are the unplanned swims. by @alexal

L’ETE part II: family life in Comporta. We built a small house in Carrasqueira, close to the @caispalafiticodacarrasqueira and we wake up everyday to a neighbor giving me watermelons and walks in the rice fields. I can not ask for more. @valerialeiteal @marli.leite.10 by @alexal

I’ve been to Saint Tropez a couple times but never for my birthday or with @billwise15 and @dashavh who were the best hosts! This year I was lucky to have @mudiwa.mutasa and @connwise celebrating it the same day. Feeling very alive for my 49th! taken in Saint-Tropez, France by @alexal

Very late post because I’ve been in Portugal with no internet but I couldn’t forget my last dinner in Cannes Lions this year which is @juliethompinc VIP dinner on Thursday night. It’s a tradition built on years of work, leadership and camaraderie with the greatest names of this industry. This is the night you celebrate your wins but also the night you breathe from the busy week with those you’ve known forever. I am lucky to be here. I started coming as a plus one to my hubby when I started at RGA 10+ years ago and haven’t stopped. This year was even more special with the homage to @susancredle for getting the well deserved Lions of St Martin. Cheers to Julie for being the ultimate connector and curator. by @alexal
