Finding the perfect balance between detox & dancing will hydrate your soul, mind, body & spirit. ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥I haven’t posted much about Lyme on here because I don’t really like to give it the time of day or much of my attention anymore. You give power to what you focus on. When you focus on the good, the blessings become more abundant. When you focus on the fun, you become freer. When you focus on the pain, the hurt gets louder. When you focus on the light, the shine gets brighter.Sometimes taking care of your body looks like red light therapy, hyperbaric oxygen chambers, supplements galore & early bed time. Sometimes taking care of your soul looks like dancing until 3 am, baking the cookies & enjoying life without strict guidelines. Sometimes taking care of your mind looks like long phone calls with friends, spending time silent in nature, or binge watching your favorite comfort show until you fall asleep.Every day looks different, and our needs evolve as we do. This is your reminder to listen to your body, honor your soul, nourish your mind & embrace the stage of life you are in right now.Whether you’re having martinis in the south of France, or just trying to get through the day… you deserve joy. You deserve healing. You deserve to be cherished & loved & uplifted & celebrated. You deserve to enjoy this beautiful little life you’ve been gifted.Every day may not be perfect, and there will likely be obstacles that say hello along your path, but you are exactly where you’re meant to be and I’m so beyond proud of the person you are.Imperfections make us HUMAN & in a world of ever-evolving technology, your humanness will forever be your superpower.That’s all for today. Happy mamas day to all the moms, moms-to-be, single moms, aspiring moms, mamas who have lost their moms, pet moms, chosen mamas, moms who have lost their child, babies who lost their mommy, future mamas & to everyone this day may feel celebratory or hard for.Holidays tend to bring up emotions that may otherwise lay dormant on other days.I feel lucky to be able to surprise my mom at the airport and pick her up with flowers and her favorite coffee. I feel lucky to hug her today. I feel lucky to be able to still have her here with me and I do not take that for granted.We are only here on this planet for a very short amount of time in the grand scheme of things, so please be as present as you can, be as grateful as you can, and hug those you love (and those that love you) as often as possible.If this day is triggering for you or hard for you for any reason, please know that so many of us have mamas we would LOVE to share. They will make you smile, give you a hug, share a pep talk, let you cry on their shoulder, whatever you need. I may not be a mom yet (though I’ve been dreaming of a fluffy companion for most of my life.. and a little tiny munchkin one day after a few other steps take place)… but I am here if you need a virtual hug or some extra love today too.If today is your first Mother’s Day, YOU DID IT. YOU ARE A MAMA, YOU BROUGHT LIFE INTO THIS WORLD. Enjoy every single second. Time may move quickly, but presence heals all that distraction has the power to take away.
