Oh yes!!! It’s our anniversary this weekend. Woo hoo!

To Alex! Thank you for your kindness, support and motivation all these years. You are my best friend, and you are still the one! These are photos from when we first met! Wow time flies! I am having so much fun with you!

Here are a few a questions/best advice/motivation from Alex.

“Are you doing everything you can to make yourself better?" I ask myself this often, and when I do try, life gets better.

Every moment is a point of empowerment!

Never stop trying!

And… Work for what you want!

Edizen of @venicepaparazzi here. It’s been a while since I shared something personal. I know we’re all fighting our own battles — and I certainly have mine. This is my current mood. It took time to get back to this strength. I’m still healing. This message is for me, and for anyone facing their own personal demons.

✨ Rise ✨
Remember who you are.
Remember where you come from.
Remember what you’ve overcome.

💪 You are strong.
You are resilient.
You are smart.
You are capable.

Control what you can.
Surrender to what is.
Honor yourself with kindness.
Do more of what makes you happy.

Slow down. Be present.
Quiet your mind. Be still.
Listen. Heal.

Breathe in. Breathe out.
Inhale strength. Exhale doubt.

💖 Mom is watching from the heavens — make her proud, and make yourself proud too.

📖 A new chapter begins.
Be good. Do good. Be your best self. Edizen 3.0 — it’s time to rise!

To my support team. Thank you for your positive and healing energy, guidance, prayers, and love. - the best is yet to come! 💪💙

@venicepaparazzi brought one of our super fun 360 Pro Video Booths to @city_shred @movebycityshred 🎥☀️

What an epic, sunny Sunday in @cityofsantamonica! Hundreds of smiling, fit and friendly people came together on the pristine soccer fields of historic Belmar Park for an unforgettable day of fitness, wellness and community.

About MOVE:
MOVE isn’t your typical workout. It’s a 2-hour, fully choreographed, music-driven experience blending breathwork, yoga, Pilates, contemporary movement, high-energy dance and HIIT. New this year was an optional community-led 5K run!

Think Coachella meets fitness. 🔥🎶💪

The event was packed with wellness vendors, food, drinks, apparel, gyms, health coaches and more—all adding to the incredible energy.

Wow. I just inspired myself with this video from two years ago. Haha! 😂❤️ I look lean, I love my arms here, and now I’m feeling MOTIVATED. 💪

You’ve all seen me running around town doing photo booths and event photography, but many probably didn’t know how much hip pain I was carrying for years. It’s been a year and 36 days since my full hip replacement, and slowly but surely, I’m getting stronger. Yay!!! 💪

This video reminded me how much I LOVE running on the beach with my dogs—and with my sister @edng_vel when she’s in town. It’s my heaven on earth. 🌊🐾❤️

Today, I’m just feeling a lot of gratitude. 🙏 Thank you to my self-defense and life coach Alex of @venicebeachgames, and to all the amazing instructors at @barrys, @sweatyoga, @shefayogavenice and @leahzaccaria for keeping me safe, strong and moving.

To my healers @blessed_newdawn and @guidinglighthealthandenergy… WOW. You two are magic! ❤️ And I’m so grateful to have @the.style.den in this chapter—this book—as a training partner, stylist and great friend. ❤️

Funny enough, two years ago I thought I was fat. Now I’m looking at myself like, GIRL… WHAT were you talking about?! 😂 This pattern I am learning to break.

Another reminder to myself: LOVE THE NOW. And be kind to yourself.

My current self-talk:
Work for what you want.
Stay disciplined.
Eat well.
Move.
Get stronger with weight training.
Build a strong mindset.
Let go of the ego and go slow.
Focus on mobility.
Calm your nervous system.
And maybe listen to Dad, who constantly tells me, “Don’t do too much. You work too hard. Be smarter.” 😂

Okay, Dad!! That one is a hard one. Haha!

Sometimes you have to look back to realize how far you’ve come. I’m remembering who I am, how far I’ve come, and where I want to go.

Let’s rise. Love you all. ❤️💯

And to my nephews @emann.lfts @e.thansaleh… I can’t wait to see you and Aidan soon! Now that you’re a personal trainer, I expect you to train ME—as I trained you in boxing—when I come visit you in Canada. 😂💪

Let’s go! 💯💪 taken in Santa Monica, California by @alexandedizen
