I asked my best friend @mustafaalmash why we’re constantly seeking to grow and that sometimes I get so tired of it, can’t we just relax? Haha! Sometimes I think it’s a curse I’ve gotten from the acting profession, to always be aware and understand myself and people. Or am I just trying to grasp something deep within me?

However, I don’t know anyone who digs the way Mustafa and I do, and I’m grateful for you, my family and @advmkais @emanuelbelew who are always challenging me, tearing me apart, and helping me grow.

And I actually found the answer. ☺️ The deep joy I’ve felt a while now is a reaction to all the work I’ve put in. Since I truly started connecting with myself, my inner child, nature, and setting boundaries for what I allow around me, I finally found home within. I’ve been in high frequencies that have attracted more life, like-minded people, and a fundamental happiness. My manifestations lately and what I’ve drawn to myself have been magical, and a lot of fun things are happening. With that said:

Im nominated for Kristallen (Swedish Emmy) for the third time in five years?!

The first time was magical and I won, yey. The second time, I was in some kind of suppression of my inner child, where adult Alexander was cocky and thought, “Eh, I’m not going to show up, been there done that.” This time, I’m reminding myself of a moment when I was studying theatre and forgot a line.

I went to the bathroom after the performance and cried for hours. I thought my career was over. “I suck and I will never become a good actor,” and sometimes - I/a part of me still believe that as recently as two days ago, hey little Alexander and all your wounds, I’m here! ❤️‍🩹🙋🏽‍♂️ I remember how I mentally tortured myself that night, and on many other nights.

But this time, more connected with my inner child. I’m bringing little Alexander, the one who has always doubted himself, the one I ignored the last time we were nominated. This time, we’re going together, proud, to Kristallen, and we’re going to celebrate ourselves and all the other amazing colleagues. And fuck Jante 🤭, damn I’m good - Telling myself, my inner child, and the world. BIG thanks to the jury!!!! 🥹🙌🏽 by @alexanderabdallah

Today is the official - World Mental Health Day.

We all carry things that aren’t always visible. Behind every face is a story we cannot always see.

For this ongoing project, I’ve been photographing people from different walks of life and asking them to speak openly about their relationship with mental health.

It’s about creating space for those things — the thoughts, struggles, fears and experiences we often keep to ourselves.

Through intimate portraits and honest conversations, I wanted to explore the many different faces of mental health and remind us that there is no single way to struggle, heal, or simply be.

A reminder to speak, to listen, and to be a little gentler with each other.

Inte visste jag vad en plats kunde göra med en själsligt. Tre somrar fick jag med denna plats. Är så tacksam över att jag alltid bejakar mina idéer och låter mig själv leva livet fullt ut. Detta kapitel är nog ett av de roligaste och klokaste jag gjort. Det finns mycket att säga, och som vanligt - väljer jag att vara fåordig. Nu är det dags för nästa kapitel i livet. Evigt tacksam och herregud vilka minnen man fick och vad mycket man lärt sig. Om sig själv och om livet.
