This is 28.

It’s grounded.
It’s no more excuses.
It’s leaving behind every habit that kept me small, soft, and silent.

28 is building—physically, mentally, spiritually.
It’s burning through the lies I told myself.
It’s choosing gratitude over bitterness.
It’s holding no hate, chasing nothing, and standing tall in who I truly am.

The name Alexander always carried weight.
And for a long time, I felt unworthy of it.
Too much. Too loud. Too big for the room.
So I dimmed. I folded. I let the world walk through the door I left open.

But not anymore.

This year, I claim my name. by @alexanderjbaxter

It was in that reflection he saw, though rippled or clear, the truth. He was not the same as he was. He was finally ‘him’. by @alexanderjbaxter

PUMPKINFACE
@rngfest X 2025 @constellatefilms

To this amazing team, thank you for bringing another one of my monsters to life. I feel like a spooky dad collecting macabre critters that slowly build what feels like a true early canon of work. In 48 hours you wowed me with dedication, art, and laughter amidst even the most pressured of moments.

Thanks to @rngfest @joelmccarthy @sashamduncan and the entire RNG founders and team for as always asking us to be explorers in our craft. This festival gave me my start in film beyond acting and I’ll be forever grateful each year for what this platform has and continues to do for my abilities as a filmmaker. We’re all across the board here at Constellate excited to see what everyone has come up with this year. Then years of awesome movies, thank you RNG - gosh I’m feeling old now 🧟 taken in Vancouver, British Columbia by @alexanderjbaxter
