NEW RECORDS! I’ve been waiting to break the silence on these for a while… As of today, my gag grouper records for 8 lb. and 12 lb. tippet were approved by the IGFA! After countless hours of tying flies, rigging tippets, and hooking fish… I was able to land a 14.4 lb. gag on 12 lb. tippet and an 8.4 lb. gag on 8 lb. tippet!

2.5 years of hard work has finally paid off! Thank you @ed_walker_sportfishing and @cjpeppe for working with me throughout the years and helping me achieve this goal of mine.

This past year has been one for the books! I was recently able to add 3 more IGFA World Records to my name. I successfully caught the 16 and 12 lb. tippet class records along with the 20 lb. line class Red Snapper record.

Huge thanks to @ed_walker_sportfishing for the opportunity! Ed also topped his American Red Snapper All-Tackle Length Fly World Record during our summer missions!

Another fun day offshore and another gag grouper limit in the boat! 🎣 September has been surprisingly kind to us weather wise, and we’re making the most of every calm day on the water.

Headed back to the dock in style with our @seakeeper Ride.

It’s grouper digging season, and the new Fierce V has been putting in WORK! 🎣

This reel has put some serious keepers in the box for me this season, and it’s proven itself every time.

Quality reel at a great price = hard to beat! 🔥

The classic 2-for-1 special on a lure!

The gin-clear Bahamian water made this one even cooler. After casting the plug and giving it a couple of twitches, I watched two fish charge in from opposite directions at the same time. Sure enough, they both smashed it!

My first Nassau grouper x schoolmaster snapper combo! Quick release, and I was right back up on the bow for more casting.

Just one of those days you dream about! Flat-calm seas, great company, and nonstop bites from quality fish. Doesn’t get much better than this! 🎣

@cjpeppe & I made our annual trip back to Cape Cod, MA, and picked up right where we left off last year—chasing commercial bluefin tuna with our good friends @ianleonard & @cmleonar.

We headed out early, found some great bait, and made our way to the tuna grounds. Unfortunately, the result was all too familiar… 😅

But we’ll be back… and we’re getting a bluefin!
