I’m not entirely sure how to put Steph + Jason’s wedding day into words. It was one of those days that reminds me why I do what I do.

The wedding industry is changing every day. It doesn’t look the way it did 14 years ago when baby Tracy first started out. In some ways it’s more artistically beautiful, but in many ways it feels like it’s lost its meaning, its magic. It’s become trends and content and decision fatigue and performative and exhausting.

Weddings are a celebration, a real life, tangible celebration of the one thing that makes it all worthwhile. It is about feeling that fully and wholly.

This day was exactly that. A celebration of the life, the love, and the family that Steph + Jason chose. It was beautiful and meaningful and so so very fun.

I spent two years getting to know S + J. I could feel the trust and friendship as I photographed the day and I truly believe that’s where some of my best and most honest work comes from.

S + J, I have so much love for you two. I’m so happy for this beautiful life you’ve created and I know it will only continue to get more beautiful as you go. xo

Megan was surrounded by the most fun, supportive, hype-you-up kind of energy from her family and closest friends. It was such a lovely morning and I feel so lucky that Megan trusted me to get her ready for such an important day.

Megan requested a soft glam look, defined eyes, glowing skin and to still feel like herself.

More photos from Megan’s wedding coming soon. X

I shot my last wedding of the year on Saturday. This wedding season was by far the most exciting and the most challenging of my career. I pushed myself to shoot my first wedding 5 weeks post-partum after a traumatic birth ending in an emergency c-section, and finished off my season with 5 weddings in September.

Leaving the house for every wedding was so hard, but within minutes of starting to shoot I always felt so lucky to be there. Being surrounded by the most amazing energy, wonderful, patient, and trusting clients, and supportive vendors truly made me feel so grateful for this job.

Being a mom has made me feel more creative, more empathetic, and able to feel emotions on a deeper level, and to connect with my clients, their families, and their story in a way I never have before.

I am beyond grateful to the talented photographers who helped me get through this season. @emmapersiphotography , @isabellebuckleyphotography, @roblloyd_ and @brookeqphotography you’re the best ever.

Above everything, thank you to my husband who loves a daddy-daughter day and always encourages me to keep doing what I love.

An intimate wedding at the family cottage with Charlotte + Blake 🦢🌿

I have so much love for these two. I literally counted down the days to their wedding. And it was absolutely perfect. There’s something so, so special about getting married at the place you spent your summers growing up.

Congratulations C + B 🤍 Cheers to forever ✨

Gabby & Paul’s wedding was one that left my cup overfilled! I wish I could describe what it felt like being present so inevitably I tried portraying it as best I could through their recap edit.

This is a small glimpse of the love that poured out that day. Contagious, energetic and mostly, electric ✨

Beyond grateful to have experienced their special day 🤍
