Raced the FitOne 5K for the 3rd year in a row. This time with my sister in law. It DID NOT go to plan and my old nerve pain/foot numbness nemesis came back. 😩 This is the first time I haven’t PB’d on this course. But we got it done, and now on to the half in 2 weeks! by @alexandrianhendricks

Last Friday, my grandma suffered a cardiac arrest and spent the last several days in the ICU. Unfortunately, the damage was too severe and recovery was not possible. We honored what she would have wanted, and she passed peacefully in the early hours this morning.

My grandma was a tough bitch. Life was not easy on her. She endured more loss, heartbreak, and hardship than most people ever should have to. She lost people she loved, faced serious health struggles, and carried burdens that would have broken many others. Those experiences changed her in some ways, as they change all of us, but they never took away her strength or her love for our family.

She was strong. She was stubborn. She was ours.
I will miss her very much. I love you, grandma.
