I heard a rumour @homedepotcanada was carrying Hoya linearis, but I haven’t spotted them yet. They have Hoya Mathilde, though. I’m always taken aback at how big box stores have the rarities that only nurseries used to carry. How the prices have changed! 🌱🪻🪴

Hoya Mathilde spotted at the groceries $23... I am still in absolute shock. 👁️👄👁️ Since when does the grocery store carry Hoyas mathildes like this?! Consider this your sign to never skip their plant department. #plantshopping #houseplants by @alexaplants_

This is the most affordable spiral cactus I have ever spotted. It’s a striking, architectural succulent featuring blue-green, corkscrew-twisting columnar stems. Normally I spot it for around $50-60, but now it’s at big box. #houseplants #indoorplants #houseplantsofinstagram #cactus #cactiofinstagram @homedepotcanada by @alexaplants_

Ficus elastica ‘Burgundy’ I got @canadiantire 2 years ago for $9, living in a pot from @homesensecanada . It’s an easy-care indoor houseplant known for its glossy, dark green-and-maroon leaves that can look almost black ~ perfect 🍂🍂🍂

She’s been sprayed with safers 3 in 1 because I live in a thrip & mealy household 😮‍💨
